I actually bought a few computers to mine NIM with, because Argon2 is so GPU resistant, it gives new miners an edge because the big boys with their eth mining rigs can't switch over to mining NIM. I usually mine about 50KH/s on average and make 300NIM a day.

Wallet is stored in the browser. If you use a private session or don't store cookies, the wallet won't be saved and you'll have to recover it with the 24 words every time you want to access it.

Because a cryptocurrency that can be developed by 95% of programmers and is easily integrated into most websites (particularly when they rewrite the Keyguard to allow 3rd parties to access it) is attractive to a lot of developers and programmers.

Still working out a bunch of things and the network is being more and more optimised every day, but it's fundamentally a top 10 coin already just lacks the brand recognition. Try mining some NIM on the testnet then testing out their open source checkout at https://shop.nimiq-testnet.com/ for example, it is completely seamless.
