Can someone neutral , not manipulating for their own gains, say if it's legit going bull? I shorted at 6k and about to FOMO back.

You want some neutrality?
Nobody can predict the market
If someone tells you it’s going bear or bull they’re talking out of their ass

I'm flat. Risk reward isn't good enough either way right now. You're better off out of the market and wait to see how this resolves.

I'm the closest thing to neutral you will find because I sold it all and I'm never buying again. Crypto is dead. It's going back to $4000 probably by next week. I'm sure of it because that's what always happens every time /biz/ is sure we're in a bull market again.

it is, but you won't see new fomo run for the next few months, will this answer suffice?

>> No.10127080

Long term is appears that it's going to continue to go down. Volume has largely dried up and now it's just market makers and wash trading bots fighting over the scraps of normalfag money that's left here. The market moves wherever they want it to, but they can't make there be enough buyers to actually reverse the trend we have going permanently

>> No.10127084

>>10127024
my 2 cents, there needs to be an actual catalyst to start a bullrun. Absent any really "game-changing" or controversial news (good or bad) it will continue the trend it has been on.

just my opinion, no one can be sure.

>> No.10127152

The catalyst is institutional money.

define bull?
Up from here? maybe. nobody knows how far. i predict a test of 7k at best before a pathetic drop in volume and back all the way down to 5-5.4k.

then reversal if we get good momentum. if not, samea s alays, trend down. its simple as that. down trend till bulls gain momentum. that may be simple as manipulators deciding its time.

The general trend when you take into account the whole life of BTC is down, you can't just ignore the previous information and historical resistance levels.
The bounce would be extremely short lived.
But if you mean a dead cat bounce, yeah. I could see it happen like the one we had at the beginning of the year.

I wouldn't play it short term.
All this bart manipulation nonsense makes it unpredictable to me.

All I know is that there are players calling for $100k to $1M btc in some date like 2020, and it looks on the daily chart like a total bargain, as it seems we are near the low end of the price range.

I'd just keep buying and holding for that eventual bull run even if it goes lower still short term.

>> No.10127908

You will find out in a few months, just keep waiting if you afraid to take risks. Otherwise just buy half now and half later if we truly are in a bull run

in the last few days of bitcoin trading we've seen 3 isolated bull moves on high volume. these could be caused by institutional scale players starting to build long term BTC positions, and that signals that (at least in their minds) we're at or near the bottom of this bear market.

If you've the time and risk tolerance, now would be a good time to start buying dips but i don't feel comfortable telling you to buy right now, after those un-corrected aforementioned bold bull moves, however it does appear that lots of high margin long-positions are accumulating around 6,6 so that means alot of smart money thinks it's time to fly.

tl;dr: it's a mixed & risky bag right now, stay away until a new trend has established itself unless you just want to take a few low cost, high-leverage shots in the dark for a cheap thrill.

Global markets are having currency problems. This will result in a need to transfer money around. A lot of these companies have capital restrictions, so something like crypto can help get around these restrictions. The gains won't be high fast, but will gradually gain.

Ask this question EVERY TIME you don't know the answer to this:
>Has anything changed dramatically that would indicate an upward momentum?
Current Answer: No
Just rumors ATM. The only somewhat meaningful news is the Coinbase Custody. But it is still new, and it will take time before we know for sure if there is any real interest.
In other words, going in now is probably not a good idea, as there is still time to get in if it does start ascending quickly.
