>The lesson for investors, Buffett says, is that you don't have to swing at every pitch.

"The trick in investing is just to sit there and watch pitch after pitch go by and wait for the one right in your sweet spot. And if people are yelling, 'Swing, you bum!,' ignore them."

they lend out baskets of money to smaller banks to give out subprime loans to retards w no credit. that way theyre safe from risk, as the small bank gets LIQ'd and goes under. but if those loans go under, while the small banks get destroyed, one would expect the large banks to stumble a little as well, as they were likely expecting a return on their investments. might explain the chart. the fact that its hard for big banks to make money in a rising rate environment itself is suspicious imo. but im a tinfoiler

Regret are for pussies
I was an investment idiot in 2016 anyway

My interest for ALGN comes from:
- the stock has tanked a little
- their products are desirable
- they are leaders with very nice margins which allows them to grow aggressively against competitors
- clear aligners accounts for less than 15% of the aligner market
- their business model involve an ecosystem, which is likely to keep the doctors captive to their products
- I suspect they will continue to deliver steady growth (just think of FB in 2016, it was already huge but still delivering huge growth)

They’re developing nuclear fuel that runs cooler than the industry standard and is supposed to be less palatable for being used in making nuclear weapons. They won’t be starting testing until late next year at the very earliest (most likely early 2020 in reality). They have a modest amount of cash for continuing operations, at least through the end of this year. They are going to apply for a US government grant to bankroll the fuel’s development process; if this grant goes through, it will increase faith in their long term solvency and therefore decrease the odds of printing shares for cash.

Right now, you have to worry about the company being forced to reverse split, or even have major dilution if they don’t get off their ass and get the gov’t grant.

Not get me wrong, if what you doing works keep at it but....

The big issue with what you doing is that am sure you already know: the scaling is imperfect!
You have to mess with stuff like scaling right, left, and even worse % !!

What me method does is put the prices into something like RSI but more conforming to price action!

This is /the best/* way to find spot price divergence or convergence!

Look at this chart too
Am was sceptical at first but we can clearly see the prices beginning to converge then cross RIGHT B4 a big crash!!!

youre right, the jobs drive demand for houses. but most cities can fill demand by building new housing. in the bay area this is impossible.

say 1,000 new workers move in and want to live in a somewhat nice place. developers say "hey we'd like to build a high rise apartment to house these people." this triggers the social justice folks to say "no no, dont build luxury housing that's gentrification you have to build affordable housing" and the little old ladies say "no no, you cant build a high rise, I like the small town feel and tall buildings ruin that" and the developers say "ok, we'll build some affordable housing too" but then the NIMBYers say "hey dont build affordable housing next to me, that'll bring down my housing value." and by this time its been 5 years and the developers give up and rent's increased by another $1,000 per month

I have a big problem with the punk scenee because its full of posers to this day. I was a raver you see, lots of punk people dripped over and I hated those people. I went to cobalt a lot in my teen day

I think no trend is the best band of all time, alongside mbv/astrobrite

japan is absolutely fugged. Either they raise interest rates and deflate their currency or keep them the same and their financial institutions will struggle to survive.

in my experience, the only places that have good punk scenes are the nowhere towns. big city scenes are so fucking ridiculous. its like every got an email in the morning that it was studded leather and boots day. or shock your hair day and color it like a faggot day.

though in most cases, none of the bands i play in, or play with are "punk". its just the way everything is, its very similar to how it WAS. no real rules or formula, and everything is set up by the folks who want to actually listen to it. i hesitant to say DIY cuz i hate that term (no shit you have to do it yourself, record companies and promoters dont give a fuck about guitar based music), but thats more or less what i mean when i say punk.

ive definitely played tons of punk shows/houses tho. normally half the people leave immediately, and the other half start questioning their leather jackets authenticity/validity as an individualist statement, so im doing what i can lol

ive heard nocturnal emissions, but not that second one

you know ramleh? they started as a really heavy, oppressive industrial band then turned into a heavy, oppressive noise band. bretty cool imo

kek yea i had to quit one of my bands cuz the guys were all like "lets relocate to LA so we can pay even MORE rent and try to make it big like in the movies"
i said id rather get hit by a truck.

for real tho, all the clubs out there are garbage "pay for your tickets out front and sell em yourself". pretty hard to get anyone in LA that hasnt heard of you to make the effort to come out and see you.

fuck the viper room or whatever its called now. i wanna firebomb that shit hole. talk about posers lol
