Think about it, they need more Tether when they expect people to sell BTC for more tether. People think the pump in BTC back in 2017 is associated with Tether but imo its whales notifying BFX they are going to take profits soon.

For example, Tether printing got out of hand before the BTC futures in december. People thought tether being printed caused the pumps but the whales knew they were going to cash out a ton of BTC for "selling the news".

Holy fuck all the Tether prints since december caused huge declines days after.

Bitfinex is thinking we are close to the bottom. They will wait a while to buy and will dump on normies on the next leg up. They will exchange their fake internets money for real world dollars. As always.
