You’ve got it all other than a sense of accomplishment and self-made pride, if you care about that sort of thing. In a room of self made men (no homo) you’ll stand out and be looked down on. If you even care about that kinda thing. I’d go as far as to turn down things that could enrich me just so I could do them myself without relying on others help. That’s not exactly good though, I’m just stubborn and very have a lot of pride.

Congrats on having parents that weren't wagecucks like the rest of us. Some people get the golden ticket. Lots don't. Thems the breaks.

$90k? We're supposed to be impressed by $90k? >trust fund kid
So you can't even access the stocks. Assuming papa gives you dividend income (average 2% across the stock market) that's $1800/year

>don't have to worry about the future
>$1800/year
Choose one.

Well what do you suggest I do? Give everything away? Maybe I'd feel better in a way because adversity makes for good experiences but I'd also be crazy to try it.
>>10030879
I can access the stocks, that's not what's in the trust fund. 90k isn't a lot but it's only on top of everything else

My parents cost me my life savings continuously over a decade. Good for you, noone should have to go through my situation.
Don't get complacent, although it sounds like you may already be.

Long story, basically they had a failing business they kept wanting me to sponsor (cried and attacked until I agreed). Eventually they sold the business. Never saw a penny and still paying their health insurance.
Don't trust anyone.
