Ok, this is probably the wrong place to ask, but l'll do anything except ask those underage /fa/ggots.
l'm finally at that point in my life where l have to wear a suit and impress employers to get hired.
How the fuck will l do that and where do l look for a suit?

You don't wear a suit for the majority of interviews. You'll just look like an autist who won't fit in with their work culture.

>> No.10020833

Cloth conatiners for the poor and second hand shops. Look that it fits, if you don't need it anymore you bring it back to the second hand shop and get a commission from the next one who needs a suit

Just put on a halfway decent dress shirt with black dress pants and a tie that works with them

yes, yes you do.
t.was interviewing candidates last week

if you don't have the money for a suit just get a decent collared shirt and tie
a good suit would be better in most cases but a badly fitted one would be worse.

>>10020828
employers don't expect you to know what their culture is off the bat. if anything it just communicates that you give a shit.

What exactly is the field? If it's anything other than finance or high level management positions a suit is way overdoing it

>> No.10020972

>>10020904
you got it backwards. the only jobs where you can over do it are burger flipping jobs where they don't want anybody too ambitious and prone to leaving after a few months, forcing them to go through the hiring process again
there's no hiring manager who would look at a suit and think "oh shit, this guy is too hard core, we just want to take it easy here".

>tfw construction engineering
>showed up to interview with t-shirt and unshaven beard
>make almost double of what my peers in salary because our generation hates going outside
>literally nobody gives a fuck about how you present yourself or your personality/interest as long as you get the job done
>spend all day solving problems and being a beacon of light for construction workers because design engineers know fuck-all about constructability most of the time
office jobs are a meme lads
