since yesterday crypto market lost $19 mil. EOS failed again because of the unscalability and tendency towards centralization. Nano wallet is having security issues. CNBC held ”funeral” for btc and most of biz threads here on 4chan are talking about cryptodeath.
every big change happened through a crisis. is this the start for a new world?

>> No.10016728

acting smart is part of the game. contracts on eth platform is suicidle. mdl talent acted smart, solar bankers acted smart, samos...

>> No.10016783

Exactly because is the start of the new world, I think is too fast to decide the death of cryptoworld

>> No.10016991

First of all ETH smartcontracts failed because it was overhyped and unenforceable with all the loans, bonds and mortgages

>> No.10017008

and about Skycoin Fiber, all I know that they improved their DLT blockchain to 3.0 making the Network Platform infinitely scalable

>> No.10017139

useless panic. panic bought, panic held, panic sold. tired of this shit. nobody on 4chan can have meaningful exchanges of ideas. PoS is shit and EOS deserves its faith. Szabo critics were on point

MLD Talent acted smart because of the valid project idea and because of using a token in the entertainment and media market. Now the fact that they went with using the new Skycoin blockchain can cause some risks, but as I could see, so far so good and to be honest I don`t think they will have problems with that

>> No.10017297

u right, this crisis can be used to make some significant changes like for example in post-bithumb hack era biz conditions will enhance aaaand exchanges will become more secure. bitFlyer was suspended until it will make improvements. imagine everything will be re-evaluated, sounds better already

>> No.10017349

I read the white paper of the Solar Bankers which I think is great how they planned the distribution and ell of the energy. No wonder they don`t have problems

For those who are curious http://solarbankers.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/Solarbankers_whitepaper_Vers2BUpd.pdf

EOS failure made me question myself about the future of blockchain as well, but after all if one is failing that doesn`t mean all of them are. In this case was about the fact that they did not finished to develop the blockchain. If EOS can't pull off something spectacular, and soon, interest will wane for sure.

No. i see risks in using the prehistoric eos.
ECAF made it worse. saying that you refuse to process transactions for some accounts because of inactivity had a huge negative impact. in blockchain world, centralization and authoritarianism is not appreciated.

EOS community wants it decentralized. the problem is PoS. this consensus algorithm gives the mentenance responsability to a hand of ppl, 21 to be more specific. they can block transactions.

now, being SMART is to avoid governance-like projects as this one because afterall we all want to decide for our biz. here comes Obelisk. totally decentralized and it goes like this:
***the influence on the network is spread by a unique technical way. each node has a list of other nodes and the more density of network subscribers, the more influence u have. everything is public.

Eos controversy was about the lack of transparency &centralization, Obelisk tackles these problems as we speak.

true, I agree with you regarding the usage by the Sky Team of the Obelisk consensus algorithm. for sure is much better than the PoS and PoW with all their security holes and centralization issues...

it's funny how /biz/ is sleeping on zilliqa, the only platform who can scale without doing any shortcuts, 3000 tps (and growing) with the level of decentralization of bitocin and eth. literally 3-4 months away from revolutionize the crypto space.

>EOS community wants it decentralized.
lol
The "EOS community" has seen dPOS in action in bitshares since before ethereum even existed and knew what it was.

This is what they signed up for.
