>t. LINK whale

Ever stop and think why Sergey is taking so long to release anything anyone cares about? Why he keeps disappointing at these "presentations"? He is trying to shake as many of you out as possible. He knows who got into the ico and his real bosses absolutely do not want institutions rubbing shoulders with who they consider the help. This cycle upward won't resume for 3-4 years, enough time to allow the ecosystem to function and grow organically, while also focusing on cutting costs and the "public good" aspect. Ever wonder why superlinear staking was developed? To cut the required collateral so you don't get a piece of $100 million bond sales. The top was $50 for a very long time

This is in response to threads asking why we're in single digits after 5 years. Sergey also hopes to see none of you at smartcon ($1500 tickets)

I will wait. They don't seem to get it. I'm not selling at these prices, and I will hold if the price collapses after everything is released. I will wait for 2 decades, 3 even. I will outlive Sergey, he is older than me.
If they want me to sell they can pump the price to 1000 dollars. 1000 dollars this week and I'll sell 500 Linkies. Final offer.

What has convinced me this is true is the sudden and unexpected pumps that LINK gets when BTC finds new lows- we get down towards $5 and out of nowhere we bounce back to over $6. It’s the same reason anon gives - they don’t want you to load up any more at lower prices. We will forever stagnate, too low a price to sell and too high a price to add any meaningful amount to our increasingly heavy bags. Welcome to purgatory.

>Ever stop and think why Sergey is taking so long to release anything anyone cares about? Why he keeps disappointing at these "presentations"?

its because they only have one shot at this. The cryptoeconomic security of chainlink scales with network size. Staking has probably been ready to go for years now, but the network is not robust enough to maintain it. There are bitcoin and eth whales who could burn money just sending wrong data. Sure, they'd lose their stake, but its just pennies to them. The network wouldn't survive open malice like this. This is why they have only allowed vetted and trusted KYC nodes to operate all this time.

But you know this. You're just pretending to be a gay retard. Heres some anime feet for your trouble.

You don’t get it anon do you? There is nothing you can do to ever get me to sell my link. Sergey could die tomorrow and I will still hold for the memories. You can send it to 0 and I will buy more so no one else can. I don’t care, I love the memes, and the idea of Chainlink is what got me into crypto and kept me into crypto to the point where I’ve already pretty much made it off of the L1 rush and ohm forks the past 2 years. I haven’t touched a single link, and I never will. If you want my links, the firm price is set to 10,000 American Green Backs per Token within the next 45 days. That seems like a reasonable amount to set my blood line up for wealth for the next 500 years assuming one of my descendants doesn’t fuck it up and marry into a bad family. If it is not at 10,000 big ones then those links will never leave cold storage, EVER. You now know the terms and conditions under which I will part with my LINK tokens, agree or fuck off.

OP is right. Bunch of 4channers tried to force it as /ourcoin/, during the presale ico phase of chainlink there was a minimum requirement of 300eth to enter the presale. Bunch of anons pooled up together and shared presale links to fill them with their eth.

Coin continued to get shilled and pumped up and hyped for the sibios event that link was attended, whole event turned out to be a flop chainlink had a presentation in a room of like 18 people next to the public toilets, literally no news or partnership came from the event and the coin dumped back to below ico prices and created 1000's of bagholder anons.

Now during this alt bull run lots of anons and took advantage of this and shilling this coin to all the new money and newfags that joined in december and don't know this story.

The coin is HEAVILY manipulated and the supply is dried up from huge whales who accumulated below ICO price to create a artificially lower supply (a lot like REQ) and these people have so much room to dump on all of you faggots to still be in profit when the time comes.

In regards to actual project that chainlink aiming to achieve it's nothing more than a basic json parser for smart contracts, would take like a day to add to ethereum by itself.. literally making links whole concept pointless and definitely no need for a token. Would take a lot longer to get it working with bitcoin but the bitcoin core devs would be able to work out the solution a lot quicker than chainlink will, think that's something worth noting that literally nothing is completed and you're literally just buying a whitepaper, they have only 2 developers and they don't communicate at all with no proven background on either, in fact sergey was involved in a project before chainlink called NxT that he since been abandoned until it was took over by a new developer team

Listen I genuinely care about about Anons financial well being. Its hard as shit to get ahead in life now, not just working 9-5 for the rest of your life. The sooner you start saving the sooner you can get ahead in life. Chainlink is a meme started by 4chan (an infamous trolling board) to lead people to financial ruin. This is NOT A JOKE. Don't let your saved wealth be thrown away over night. Vitalik Buterin the creator of ethereum said himself the days of making x100 or x1000 are over, that right the guy who created the second most popular crypto said himself those days are over. Now 4chan is trying to get people to lose even more money after the December/January bloodbath. Smart money already exited the crypto world. Crypto is basically a highly specialized database, companies don't need this. They will just create their own private blockchains. There is no need for crypto chainlink isn't even needed to run the nodes. Think XRP when you think chainlink. The company ripple (smartcontracts) is doing well but the coin XRP(chainlink) isn't even needed for the companies technology. Considering what Vitalik said "The days of making x100 or x1000 returns are over." Chainlink needs a 399900% increase in price over the next couple of months to reach $1000 this is ludicrous. Don't fall for it, chainlink its a meme to fuck you over. Consider this for chainlink at current price to reach $1 you need an increase of 700% or a 233% increase every month until EOY. This is a 4chan meme to siphon money out of the hands of the already vulnerable.
