He has a large effect in people's perceptions of BSV for better or for worse. What would people say about it if Craig was never a factor?

Mike Hearn was describing the way Bitcoin publically before Craig. People could have just fucking listened to him.

I guess he tried too with XT.

It's not about Craig at all. It never was. His enemies don't care about him, or who Satoshi is. All his enemies care about is opposing and destroying Bitcoin. It's always been about Bitcoin. Bitcoin has always been what (((they))) hated. That's why Blockstream was created. That's why Segwit was added. That's why the Lightning Network (an off-chain "solution") was added. That's why, when BCH was made, it was violently attacked. That's why, when the BCH team went full retard and began fucking up the code * , the enemies of Bitcoin suddenly stopped attacking BCH (because it was no longer Bitcoin), and why they instead shifted their focus to attacking BSV once it was born.

They see CSW as a fraud so BSV must be a fraud. Makes sense, but then these people go buy into actual frauds.

For everything people hate about BSV by itself, its FAR less scammy than just about everything else talked about here. The majority of this board is token scams.

He brings a message people don't want to hear because they are so emotionally and financially invested in BTC.
But Bitcoin is supposed to be a peer-to-peer electronic cash system. This means it scales. Not simply a store of value with a limited supply, as an arbitrary ERC20 token can have a limited supply.
