Not being approved in 3 days seems to be the new norm. Nevertheless, call/email their support if you've been waiting more than that.

The only "plans" are on an Australian and Chinese beta. Neither of which has gained much traction.

youll prolly break even tho. lesson learned

next time, try and go for ones with higher delta than fucking 2 lol.

the problem is, your vega is the amount that the option gains if IV goes UP. but you bought at a kinda high IV, so for every percent that IV goes down, you will lose 1*vega. since it could moon tomorrow, you will lose some to that.

if you bought some higher delta ones, you would be able to counteract it, but since yours is only 2, you can expect 2 bucks per dollar move in MU (now subtract however much IV is going down times vega). not so good. when i go OTM i look for ones that are around 30 delta and i only buy em at low IV.

its your call (literally), but id take what i can get and chalk it up as a lesson learned

i bet. idk wat im doing. im just testing out this type of shit to compare things that i normally wouldnt think of, then posting it with a guess so that i can check back in a few days and see if it was accurate. the spread charts for futures seem to be pretty handy so far though.

what it DOES mean is that IWM has been outperforming the SPY this year so far. but any old retard couldve told ya that. now if i had this chart at the beginning of the year, it mightve come in handy. but im not too worried about it. just trying to test some charting ideas out w out putting real money down

lol ya dont have to be a daytrader with that stuff m8. TA works better on a larger timeframe anyways.

"the intelligent investor" by benjamin graham is a classic of investing. its pretty long, but its good for learning. i can also recommend "how i trade stocks and bonds" by richard wyckoff on there too. that ones pretty short, and a fun read actually (and though its written in the 20s, its remarkably similar to how it works now in the general sense).

but you dont have to read all (or any) of those books. just thumb through whichever one is more your style. thats all i ever do, and then i write down notes so i can remember

I agree wholly, but here in the Philippines, the technology's not sophisticated enough so trading is still a bit of struggle unless you're sitting comfortably in front of a computer being a day trader. I was hoping that I can finally trade stocks via smart phone app like MetaTrade4.

Currently I'm reading Trading in the Zone by Mark Douglas. It's a great read too but I have a lot of backlogs of book to read, I can only find time to read whenever I ride in a public transportation.

the top line is what your returns would be over 25 yrs if you bought SPY at closing bell everyday, and sold at opening bell. the bottom line is if you did the opposite (traded during regular hours and closed at end of day). the reason is because big guys buy at night. so you not being able to trade during the day could save you a lot of pain desu.

also, this kind of trading, since it happens on different days, isnt daytrading, and the SEC wont bother ya. and its not like you have to sell every day either. you can just buy and hold like this too. if you did it THIS way, all you really need to do is look at the daily candles every day to see how we did, and keep an eye on the weekly and monthly candles for longterm decisions.

its something to think about. this is mostly how i trade now, buying on the bells for overnight gaps up and down

Okay this HUGE outfit has raised red flags for me. It has to do with the share structure. The shares on offer are of the Class B subordinate variety, meanwhile all of the Class A shares are held by insiders. This is shady. The gist of the situation is Class A shareholders (ie, not you or me or any retail investor) have all the say in company dealings and are not accountable to Class B shareholders (you or me or...). It is in effect a private company you can trade. That's bad.

The second problem is it came right out the gate releasing 1.3 billion, capital B, shares on the market. Bad. Not reputable company vomits out a share count like that right when they initially hit the market.

Day trade only. Don't touch it for anything else, don't hold it overnight. I don't care if it goes on to 10x, it's still shit.

get on the golden wheat train my nigga. ESPECIALLY if the dollar ever turns, holy shit, thatll supercharge it

corn is getting absolutely bogged rn.
wheat on the other hand is looking a little more lively. and ive already heard rumors, on here and from farmers, that the wheat harvest could easily be all jacked up this year. now after checking some spread charts (which is something i know farmers do (and is where i got the idea) to determine whether to plant corn vs wheat), ive noticed that the spread between the front month and two months out is tightening up. and this is going into the start of harvest season.

i havent checked the rainfall out in the midwest, but its been pretty dry here, w the occasional downpour (fucking TERRIBLE for crops). last time in i was in KY (last year) and the midwest (this year) i heard all kinds of shit about how the harvests have been getting all jacked up due to changing weather patterns on a macro scale (either too hot, too dry, too wet etc) each year. farmers arent always the best at adapting to this shit, and the industrial ones have a lot on their plate. if it snowballs into a wheat shortage, it should run. if the DOLLAR falls at any point during this, were talking MOONSHOT.

so peep this spread chart. blue line is difference between front month and 2 months out futures contracts. and the orange line is the CFD price for wheat in U$D.

yall niggas seeing what im seeing? an entry with futures spread going bull. it led by about two days. lets see if it happens again...

orange is U$D
see that very clear inverse correlation (i mean obviously) between them? now notice how wheat prices have been rising ANYWAYS? only getting bogged on this last unexpected U$D run? if dollar flips while were long, its gonna cause wheat to fucking ROCKET outta the stratosphere as wheat plays catch up

I am swing trading myself (cca 15-20 trades a month) so I use InteractiveBrokers and I trade CFDs of the underlying US stocks. Degiro has also CFDs, but only with max 1x leverage, InteractiveBrokers has CFDs leveraged 10x, no spread fees and brutally cheap margin funding. Well, Bili is pretty fun to play with, but it moves a lot (more than I'm used to). Consider it has already gained around 100% since it's US IPO in april. And it's not a penny stock, it's an actual decent earning company with good growth prospects. So that's a lot. I'd say it's pretty in the money right now.
