To the financially illiterate in this thread, here´s a newsflash: OP is trolling.

His graph calls the roaring 20´s and great depression a "consolidation", and "predicts" a 10x right when the crash of 2008 happened.

You guys realise crypto is just babbies first investment. It's all a scam to get the younger generation interested in investing and once crypto dies they addiction will not and there will be a new generation dumping money into shares

Your statement is outdated. It might have appeared that way to you back in December, but it is certainly no longer true. Most people are getting JUSTed by crypto hard these days.

There are cryptos that go from 1x to 200x in just one year.
Are there even any stocks that even do the same? Yeah I thought so.

It has happened countless times in the past and will happen again! The days of those gains in crypto though may well be over forever

A stock can move 2% and you can make 50% gains on it.

This. The timeframe is obviously important. We need gains relatively short-term. If we already had enough starting capital to live of the dividends like warren buffet, then that is what we would be doing. I already have 40% of assets invested in stocks but it's not enough to cover my living expenses, so the most I can do is let it grow over five to ten years.
