So I have this factory in Pakistan that I use for ordering bulk clothes. My average order is about $1500. I just got a message from the owner.

Advice? I'm leaning heavily towards this being a scam. In a month I'm planning on placing a $8,000 order with him, so I don't want to burn my bridge...

Simple:
Empty your PP. After getting the money from the pakis customer, transfer it to you bank immediately.
Wait until it arrives at your bank and only after that do the WU transfer.

The paki will have to wait 3 days and you will be safe from chargeback.

Sounds scammy but also look up 'Hawala', as I think that's how Indians and Pakis """"transfer"""" money.

there's a chance you will get charged back.
depending on how much money you have made from doing business with this person you can consider doing it.

if you do this and all goes well then you have extra confidence that your $8000 order will be safe too.

Don't do it. You get nothing out of it except potential trouble, imagine it turns out it's connected to terrorism or money laundering, you'll have to explain yourself and your excuse will be, "Well I thought I was a good Samaritan". Say I'm sorry I can't help you and move on, if he pesters you just cut him off.

sounds like money laundering indeed.
But he doesn't want to lose a good client... that would be something stupid to do if he tries to fuck with you.
Again, you have nothing to win, why wouldn't you ask him a commission for the job?

stupid. the "customer" could just transfer the money out of his paypal account to his bank account and transfer the money to the paki from there. no need for a middle man

Don't fuck with PayPal if you rely on it at all. They will lock your account and freeze your funds for 6 months if they don't like what you're doing. It's a Jew jewer of "payment processing"

THIS
Can't believe a escrow service will not do this...

Your business is clothing, not money transfers
....Don't get mixed up in this

Its a scam you fucking moron. Go on Craigslist and you'll find the same thing. After you send the WU the will charge you back. Paypal will pull it from your account and put you in the negative if you try and cash it out first. This is one of the oldest scams in the book. I had someone try the same thing on me about 10 years ago, but luckily read up online first and realized it was a time old scam.
