Ripple's XRP got a new symbol today. There was a vote and the "community" chose from 100s of designs. There's one small problem tho: the head of community at Ripple submitted the winning design and it was created by the Ripple team. If this isn't centralized, I don't know what is lol

No honey, the best and most valuable things in life are found in solitude. But a normie thot just wouldn't understand.

Kek. This is the lowest quality FUD ive ever had the misfortune of seeing. The crap that gets propagated around /biz/ about XRP is the biggest buy signal.

Apologies anon. You must understand that 'centralized' is the worst thing you can call a digital asset/crypto

If you're not a trusted validator (a selected role) you essentially do nothing for the network. It's like the cucks who think nodes without mining power validate transactions on bitcoin.

if you take it that way then xrp is more decentralized than bitcoin
https://blockchain.info/en/pools
as 3-4 mining pools control more than 50% of all the mining power
https://xrpcharts.ripple.com/#/validators

>buy mining hardware
>irrelevant for the network anyways
>get cucked by chinese miners and asics
>decentralization

btw, of course normal people arent going to run gateways, the only ones incentivized to do so are, exchanges/anyone that handles massive volumes. like bitstamp, gateways are not "miners".
anyone can run a validator, "running a validator is as cheap as running a email server"
its just normal people are not incentivized to do so, if they dont hold a big stack and want to keep the network healthy or rely on the network for payments, etcetera

>>9881901
how is it retarded...
