Popular brokers for stock trading:

Robinhood
>commission free and no minimum to open
http://www.robinhood.com

> How is it free?
Robinhood earns revenue by collecting interest on cash/securities and fees from their Robinhood Gold service

> It's been X days, why isn't my account verified yet?
Not being approved in 3 days seems to be the new norm. Nevertheless, call/email their support if you've been waiting more than that.

> When is it coming to my country?
The only "plans" are on an Australian and Chinese beta. Neither of which has gained much traction.

Most ppl on biz are retarded. Once you realize this simple trick, you'll see how easy it is to 10x+ your gains.

What people try to tell you is buy penny stocks and hope that they moon. What they don't realize is that you just need to make 4-5% a day.

Here's what you do, browse biz and sites like stocktwits and see what companies people are taking about. Buy 1 or 2 in the morning, and sell by eod. Rinse and repeat for each day and you'll be sitting on 10x gains in no time.

Also make sure to get a trip so that you can brag about how good of an investor you are.

they already make money doin medical, and they will be able to stave themselves off during the lean times before sales come in. this allows them to keep their spending really high and, ideally give them an early competitive advantage over the others.

aurora is obviously in the similar position, however, like i said, i did NOT dig on those financials one bit, and the chart was too far up for me to wanna FOMO in on something im already expecting will dip

That’s a good choice to take a long position on. Value stocks usually are. You’ll be mad when it takes a huge dip like it has historically during crashes, but if you bought in literally any time in the last 10 years and held till now you’d be pretty stoked.

If you’re trying to margin it, you’re doing it wrong. If you want aggressive strategy, it’s probably not your stock.

Aphria does have the best share structure and financials relative to market cap of the large LPs but I don't recommend choosing just one horse in that race. You'll be better off hedging your Aphria holdings with the ETF so you have some buffer if one you're not holding looks like it's going to pull way ahead of the pack. I know a guy who lives and breathes the auto industry and says Tesla is basically a Ponzi scheme at this point. To quote him:

> They used pre pays for the new roadster to get the 3 into production because the preorders on the 3 weren't enough for the first wave they were planning to build

> And they keep taking on big investors to use the money to pay off the old investors who want out

Make of that what you will.

It is. The thing people focus on and think about isn't that important.

When I talk about architecture I'm not talking about the neural network pattern. I'm talking about larger structuring and how you arrange all the different neural networks when combining it with a specific style of way of handling complexity.

It would be hard to explain. It's a combination of using fastest time algorithms related to handing complexity and applying some of the same lessons to AGI.

The gist is that you create a minimal viable AGI using simplistic vector spaces. A Geometric Algebra AGI in short, then bootstrap it through more complex things.

It's really interesting but I'm not incentivized like normal people.

I don't touch options, and most of my positions I close at a gain are long positions and therefore tax-free.

What's your principal, if you don't mind my asking? You probably just aren't heavily invested enough. If you're smart, you look in terms of quarter to quarter performance, not day to day, unless you're really trading high volume.

There's literally dozens of investment strategies. What are your goals? Do you want to put away a small savings (couple grand), and watch it beat inflation/bonds and grow to a sizeable nest egg in 5 years? Do you want to make 20k in a year off your entire life savings of 100k? It's impossible to give advice, because people are always looking for something different, and since they're so many different stocks and bonds and ETF's and mutual funds (you get the picture) out there to choose from, it's going to be really hard to coach you if I don't know what you want. There's a reason financial advisors are a thing.

Once you know what you want, it's all research and good judgment, and a hell of a lot of luck, so to speak.

Don't listen to analysts. Look at operating/profit margins, earnings reports, and just general industry knowledge on whether or not they're a "good business". I've seen analysts give good financial reports to stocks that aren't even profitable companies, and have zero promising tech or market demand on the horizon. The only exception is perhaps things tied to politics that take a hit when something out of their control goes down, like oil, defense, or bank stocks.

It is very important to be able to see things for what they really are or you will fall for hype. Do you have any idea where the field was before this deep learning shitfest? ML was making strides with manifold learning. Deep theory based connections. Principled approaches. Now? Everyone just shits out their "own" gimmick architecture, shows it does better on a certain dataset and publishes. The field is in a very bad place right now.

Do you know how the last neural network craze ended? The support vector machine took a big fat dump on it. This one just needs a similar catalyst.

I’ve been teaching others and I’ve gotten my neighbors and coworkers into shorting the market and we are all making a lot of money together shorting BTC and Ethereum. I’m really popular now among my friends because I’m making so much money from shorting the market, a lot of them are making accounts in bitmex now because of me. I can’t wait for this bear market to continue for the next 5 years until I have enough money from shorting to buy a house and hopefully a nice car. Shorting is the best guaranteed way to make money

There is literally nothing new about it. They just took regular neural networks from the 80s and added more layers. CNNs are great at image recognition, but all of that credit belongs to the people who made graphics cards capable of running these things at such a large scale so they could handle huge training sets. They are good for specific classes of problems and have extremely diminishing returns but the world acts like they will be AI jesus in a few decades.
