in any network, its value is derived from usage. the more it is used; the more valuable it becomes.
this is especially true with the tokenomics of VET/Thor - as demand for Thor increases with more transactions, the value of VET increases. You can't FUD it, it's literally economics 101.

But that's even past my point, my point is that major adoption will drive out projects that are 2 dudes in their mom's basement with 'coin' at the end of their name, and money will flow primarily into projects like Vechain who are actually doing real things.

can neither agree nor disagree with this, betting on any crypto is speculation, but with regards to pricelevels, for instance the NEXO token has been calculated by independent anons on reddit to be worth around ~1$ in a relatively close timeframe, however its priced around 15cts? right now.
Nobody knows true valueations until we see actual returns, if you make the arguement that all the prospects of growth are priced in, then all the speculation risk is priced in too. VEN might flip ETH, or just deliver on what its supposed to. Both things are big.

Yeah not shit. The price is whatever the hell someone is willing to pay for it. Investors are going to be looking at ROI for this though, greater fool theory isn't going to send this to the moon and beyond forever. You won't see VET rise independent from the value of the THOR it generates all that much. There's a certain amount of room for speculation, but it's very much tied down too.

The better question is how much they are paying while NOT using the network

Smartcontracts cut costs
Fast, Cheap Transactions cut costs
Information being readily available lowers the failure rate. The blockchain not going down or being centralized lowers the failure rate.

Its trustless, fast, cheap and accurate data.

In the end of the day we will just have to see, but trillions of transactions per year is absolutely feasible in the logistics industry.

There you going being a retard again lol “mid level” they have 2 of the top 4 in the world with the 3rd waiting for the ink to dry which account for trillions of transactions a year through shipping alone but if you had any sense of know how to research you would realize that’s not the whole scope of what they’re doing for these companies so factor in all the packages being tracked plus the trucks planes trains etc. then factor in the auditing end of that and whatever else they have up their sleeve for a majority of all packages shipped in the world and you think 20 bln revenue in 2 years is insane? Considering that’s 3 partners of the 300 they’ll have inked by the end of this year? Lol delusional

20B in network fees annually is absolutely delusional. You're talking about Vechains value in providing auditing solutions and whatever else, but that's something else entirely. I'm not arguing against VeChain as a company being successful, I'm sure they'll make a lot of money providing these kids of solutions....the network is a separate revenue stream though and you've just bought access to the network. The recurring profit for the Tech Company, the non-profit foundation, and the VEN holders is through THOR.
