First sell off was in 2014, we're still in complacency. Despair isn't coming until there's a common agreement BTC goes into double digits, which will be wrong as $100 psychological barrier holds and then the new bull run begins.

Agreed. BTC hasn't gained any merchant adoption since the bull run began. It has actually lost ground. Sure there are altcoins, but BTC will take the entire market down with it. If there ever is to be a flippening the exchanges will have to initiate it, but this is unlikely without enough liquidity to support trading pairs in other another currency. The current situation looks mighty grim
