Should I buy? I actually really like it, it's just a fucking simulation of bitcoin and so far has been copying its price movements.

I would honestly feel safer holding this than most ICO "project" alts which rely on bullshit and lies to get any growth.

no fucking way it wont crash below a dollar again, even if it takes off later. people in crypto seem to forget that most business ventures fail. This coin has one freakin dev at its core, ya it might work and become the new gas but dont bet the farm on it. Also the price isnt determined by hodlers now its determined by a small number of weak-handed pajeet speculators. You really trust them not to panic sell and crush the price for months?

But, the project is finished technically. The dev has 0 work to do on the 0xbtc smart contract. He may be working on other stuff related to it, ie lava wallet, but it's done really, just like bitcoin at one point in time. It's in the hands of the people now. So it's kinda kn is if it fails or not

>>9846371
Isn’t the lava wallet the key though? Until then, it’s still no faster than ETH, right?

>> No.9846833

>>9846309
What does it matter if it's 1 dev or 50 devs or a group of 3 domesticated cats? The smart contract is already done; dev can change it as much as you can.

And fyi it's not just him, there are a bunch more people working on applications to build on top of 0xBTC.

It very well could be the key to its success. The dev(s) seem pretty competent so I dont have any doubts it will be finished in time. So there are a few ways of looking at it. It continues growing and outperforming itself even without having any direct use cases yet aside from 'muh store of value' but upon release of the wallet offering more functionality it takes off and becomes more widely adopted. Or, as you say it may continue a downward trend with maybe a few inconsistent spikes until the usability is there. Anyone can shout moon or scam and basically have a 50/50 shot being right. Time will tell.
