Is dropshipping just a meme or can you actually make money doing this?

>> No.9819264

from all the threads i've seen here and on reddit it seems that the most profitable dropship guys have exclusives on products that take off in their respective countries. I've been interested in this myself, but am not sure there's any good "in" at this point.

Please don't give up.
It's not my thing, but I love to see people on here that aren't just chasing and shilling shitcoins.
I'm a huge poster on /smg/.

there should be a thread for building online brands, how to scale online business, how to find niches in social media marketing and profit off from them that. basically an equivalent for /smg/
I could go on and on. I am really researching everything right now - and already came up with a draft concept. the only thing holding me back now is lack of understanding in photoshop/editing..

I use to do dropshipping but I switched over to crypto. It’s entirely possible but many give up before they can make a living from it. It takes a while to select the right product, select the correct supplier, and then market it across social media. Once again, it’s possible but the work is hard up until you find the right product and it’s easy coasting from there

You've to find the category of shits that sell better, fight competition and risk with trends.

You could make some serious money buying from China and reselling in US/Europe but you also risk to have your house full of fidget spinners that you'll never ever sell.

The average /biz/ poster is a lazy faggot, he prefer to trade cryptos and hope that they multiply by itself in weeks/months/years.

That sounds fantastic
I think you should rely more on building the community than using this as a platform for sharing your knowledge and publishing your insights.
Usually solid resources are linked in the OP of the post, otherwise good content is occasionally distributed via those nicely crafted pics that you're probably thinking of.
A huge compilation of knowledge and insights is better distributed off of a blog or YouTube channel if it's going to be several pages.

>But seeing how many people chase gains rather than try to start business i dont think it would work
The main issue is that starting a business and running it is months of work.
It's not really something easily discussed at the pace that /biz/ runs at.
This is why due diligence is rare on /smg/ and why on the amateur game development general thread in /vg/, there isn't very much coding and progress done by most.
Coding requires work, and if you're coding, you're not posting. It's hard to discuss.
