People who say "sideways bitcoin = altseason" are fucking morons. BTC needs to rally hard first in order for there to be incentive to buy alts. This is what happened before the last two altseasons.

When BTC finally pumps a lot of people will dump their alt bags to jump on the BTC train. Just think what this will do to the altcoin mcap.

Point is, alts ain't pumping hard any time soon. OGs may say so because they're looking for a respectable exit right now.
We might see BTC hit 8500 by mid to late June which may be joined by a few alts pumping a meager 20 - 30%, at which point I'd suggest you all GTFO and Tether your asses up.
