Okay well im gunna lay out your options for you. since you only have just under $1k if you want to make it you need to find a good microcap
The best ones are:
Dero
Semux (developing java vm and already have fully written code from scratch for new blockchain)
solana (when it comes out in 2019)
emotiq (after it releases in a couple months)

These are the only coins that actually have a legitimate reason to go 100x imo. But then crypto doesnt follow fundamentals. desu anon, if you only have $1k i think you are better of wagecucking a few more months, saving up and then investing. Bitcoin still needs to find a bottom before we go on a proper bull run anyway so you still have time.

If it's legit then I dont see why it shouldnt be top 20 or even top 10. The only other coins to have built a VM from scratch are Ethereum, Eos, Neo and Cardano so. Plus, Neo, cardano and eth all have long blocktimes compared to dero's 2-9 sec times.
