The only thing that could save the Cleveland housing market is if they build a hyperloop to Chicago.

I have lived in Cleveland all my life, and the weather is one of the main reasons why no one wants to live here. Dealing with lake-effect snow, you can get more snow in one Strom than some cities get all year.

However, Cleveland is definitely improving year over year. The Cleveland clinic has greatly expanded, and took away alot of the ghetto on the Eastern edge of the city, and new construction has been slow, but consistent.

There is still the problem of East Cleveland. That whole area is not recovering ever in my life time. It's so dangerous that you have to avoid it, even during the daylight hours. And it's not like its only a couple blocks, I'm talking from MLK to past 200th street, it's as close as you can get to Detroit.
