It sounds like you've been demotivated. Look, the world is becoming a lot more competitive. It's been that way for a long time, but things are really going crazy now with society. This planet has too many Gordon Gecko wannabes and have life just be one long ego power trip, just look at /biz/, you'll see what's up.

But you have two options. You can either become a spectacular person, you can work like you're possessed by the spirit of a deceased hero every day and week and month and year until you get where you need to be at life and you leave all those fucking people behind who just putter around and waste time and live life asleep like suburban zombies behind, or you can stay one of them. Morality is crumbling away in this civilization because people don't care about anything anymore, and nobody is interested in enforcing mores and standards, so it is natural that the most ambitious people stand to gain so much.

It's really up to you, not someone else. You must understand at the very least that the longer you sit around being sad, the more years of your life are wasted when you could be working on becoming great at something.

it may be hard to believe, but your problem is not that other people don't accept you. you don't accept yourself. you can be all the things you desire for yourself but only after you let go of your expectations and self hatred. once you love yourself all this inward focus will turn outward and you'll do things you enjoy, and just maybe meet someone who wants to spend their time with you. but i warn you, once you get there you may find compromise isn't something you wanted after all. regardless, whatever path, loving yourself is the only way to succeed
