I'm a Chainlink Whale with well-over 1,000,000 LINK. Since the FUD period is almost over and many of you have realized LINK is no shit-coin, I guess the fun is over.

In the screenshot here, I have shown you one of my accounts (more than 950K LINK) of our dear stinky link.

There are so many huge vendors hovering around Swift in the banking system that someone would have purchased Sergey six times over already. Or, Swift would have put this out to bid if it's an actual system they plan on using as per their rigorously enforced purchasing policy. I worked with a company that hired consultants for swift and every single thing had to be bid out through their procurement group. Even pilot partnerships like this would have to be part of swifts 10K statement. There's nothing here.

You have a few wrong assumptions:
1. Banks and potential partners are interested in this piece of tech and the team because they are subject-matter experts.
2. For banks and potential partners to create their own network (without the subject matter expertise), would be an expensive exercise that would never get off the ground.
3. For banks and partners to attempt to do what Chainlink is doing even with subject-matter experts could be heavily capital-intensive as well as time intensive. So in other words, the incentive to create their own is thrown out the window.
4. Why would anyone try and buy out Chainlink when they lack the experts to even operate the system?
5.Banks and partners want to SAVE money. Chainlink helps them fulfill this task.

im just saying data is extremely valuable these days... especially the ones you can get from banks and investment firms...

if you were head of a corporation that had a corner on this market(swift), would you

1. create your own permissioned blockchain and continue to corner and capitalize this market, granted there is stiff competition with RIpple labs

or

2 would you allow a small start up to decentralized and encrypt your otherwise valuable data.??

Lots of coordinated FUD that allowed a lot of smart and patient blockchain enthusiasts to accumulate without fret or worry of missing asymmetrical upside.

I sense people are beginning to wake up or at the very least make themselves aware of the potential of this much-needed middleware stack.

Let's play a thought experiment:

If you had the chance to invest in bitcoin early-on for penny's on the dollar (say in 2009-10), would you? If we could fast-track you back in time and you had the opportunity to conduct such an act you still wouldn't do it.

Seems counter-intuitive, sure. But not quite.

Most people at the time who heard about bitcoin early-on chose to ignore it believing that the tech would not go anywhere.

Those who entertained the putting serious money behind it chose not to bailed at the chance due to its inherent risk profile and were psychologically "safer" in choosing more conventional investments.

Chainlink is a new paradigm and which is why most do not get it, much less conceptually develop a framework for the ecosystem it may build. It is something new. Which is why the memes were so needed in the first place. They catch your attention, but research and finding out the areas covered and impacting this emerging field (while battling your own blind spots) will separate you from the crowd.

I'm willing to bet there are other's here lurking within 4chan have a similar patience to put their money where their mouth's are, while willing to make a contrarian bet with asymmetrical potential.

In a few years, we will see if my decision was a bold move that paid off, or something of a cautionary tale.

I'm willing to take the bet. The reward is too large for me to consciously ignore with my mouths of studying Chainlink and its forthcoming role for the world. Apologies in advance for typos.

FUD has caused more people to miss out than catch opportunities.

Nearly every blockchain project worth its salt has been FUD'd in the past. Every person has a blindspot which makes them susceptible to believing an ounce of it.

If you think you aren't affected by it, then tell me Anon how come you didn't buy Ether in 2015? Or Bitcoin in 2012-3?

Because people said they couldn't work and you believed it. FUD works in this way. It is subtle. Pervasive even. It plays to your already existing conceptions of how the world works and should work and it plays on that.

What convinced you that Bitcoin and Ethereum have potential? When the rise rose, of course.

I have a position in Chainlink before it rises, not after. I understand how FUD works on the belief system.

Should you not think you're not being played. Think about how many independent thoughts positive or negative you have about Chainlink. Now, Anon, tell me, how many of those same thoughts are nothing more than repeated opinions shared here on 4chan just in your own words?

He's a whale. More than a Million LINK also. He doesn't believe in the EOY $1000 (or he at least didn't admit it to me), but if you ask him to sell he'd laugh in your face.

I noticed a few threads that popped up recently doing the FUD campaigns of Ethereum and it certainly reminds me of what has occurred for some time w/ LINK. When it what walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck... you know the rest.

I find the timing of the sentiment regarding Chainlink to be closely linked (no pun intended) with its development schedule.

Testnet is now live and with an operational faucet and almost on an instant we're beginning to see people becoming suspicious of some apparent psy-op campaign and countering that with conducting more research to find out why is Chainlink even mentioned much.

Chainlink excited me because it was once of the first blockchain-related solutions where I had to actually research because it was a bit difficult to wrap my mind around.

I mean, think about it, if you were me, and you knew smart people smarter than you, and you knew technology better than you, and they were excited about chainlink and you didn't understand it, but you have the resources to investigate, would you?

Of course you would.

For me once the "aha" clicked in for me in late 2017 after hearing about it from a family member, I began to scale in.

The FUD here after doing my own research wa s the clincher.

On LINK?

I'll put it to you like this: I seriously spend my time wondering what will I do with my life if, the unthinkable happens of having a massive windfall. What are my true motivations? What do I do with my time daily if money becomes a mere pittance to think about? How do I give back? How can I truly help others? How humbly should I live? Is living humbly with massive wealth genuine or a farse (sp?).

I ask these questions now so that if something exciting happens ; ), I'm well-prepared ahead of time.

I am now $25k into it and continue to accumulate at low prices and am at abt 50k Link now. Been conservative all my life, but I decided for myself and family I would step up and take a chance. New paradigm is currently being built now. Volatile price fluctuations are weeding people out. A number of studies have shown the blockchain space will be well over $10 trillion in a few years (so it may be more).

By the time you're in your late 20s, the job market will look a lot different than how you see it now. Many of your friends will be unemployed if they chose the wrong major/specialty. Arguably, the biggest wealth creation opportunity on Earth is staring people in front of their eyes (speaking of crypto as a whole), but they are too busy concerned about LOSING money?

In good conscience, I cannot advise you to "load up on LINK" but its worth at least some exposure to. Well, you know that already I assume. Perhaps you can learn to help businesses implement smart contracts to save money. You will be seen as a whizkid and can easily carve out a unique niche career-wise.

Having a lot of wealth very early is normally a recipe for disaster so think ahead and create a plan for the future. More importantly, stay grounded.

I'm thinking of selling half of my 10k stack during the next pump (if it ever comes) for MAN and/or CPC. Chink scams or not, I've been holding LINK for 7 months and it has done nothing. It's 'only' 20% of my portfolio, but the opportunity costs and the pain of watching it crater through the ranks.. I could have sold at 7k sats before superconference, then at 6.4k sats during consensus.. I knew it would go down. "But what if.. what if it's happening tonight?" - is what I deluded myself with. But the happening never came. Can Sergey even deliver mainnet this year? Or am in for another 7 months of bagholding? What if it dumps on mainnet release? It always does. Why would LINK be different? What if, even if Sergey delivers, it's far too early for LINK and it takes 5-10 years for any significant adoption? I don't know.

I'm an autist at heart (it's how I became rich), and I do a lot of research.

I have a list of partners and potential partners and its probably more or less the same of everyone here on 4chan.

Here's a tip that I use to find out partners/prospective:
I look at the use-cases that Chainlink can provide and I compare that with the incumbent solutions.

From there, I look at the performance of the incumbents and their service capabilities.

Then I research and create a list of existing clients of the incumbents and see how Chainlink can better help them.

I noticed Rory mentioned in the slack that people actually help him somewhat with intros for business. A clever way to finding out who they would be interested in working with and are working with would be devising a list of prospective partners that you can make a strong intro to and spot the response from the team.

You may get a "not interested" or you may find out something else.

Good luck

Once it’s intergrated with swift, LINK instantly partners with 12000+ banks. Then docusign, the accord project, sales force, town crier, etc. Can’t wait.

Have read the whole thread and very glad I actually opened it.

Can you share any insight on how to find jobs in a smart contracts world and in general elaborate in your vision of this field in 1-2 years, and how it could go by possible global financial crisis which is right around the corner?

I had very nasty period in my life, lots of stuff to deal with, but now I'm somewhat free and would like to dedicate myself into something worth longterm and see that smart contracts space very promising, same as 10trillion$+ cap of the space.

Tried to study MBA and CS before, but realized that I want something in between + tried to study them during wrong time in my life, now I could put much more effort in it. Since I do have understanding of crypto I think when it will explode globally there will be very high demand, so I would like to prepare for this when there's still some time left

Small background: have no major, school dropout, had small business before disappointment in local economy, now work in unicorn IT company but not in IT department (at least now I know how big corporates work)

Why would you need to find a long term job in the smart contracts? Here’s a pro tip, somehow get at least 10k to 20k LINK, run a node there’s your job.

>> No.9711374

op is still a larping faggot and probably doesn't even own 10k link
lists all his 1m link but doesn't show the actual order in the order book, just inspect element edit for his 100 link open order

That's why some people might prefer linkpool.

How do you see a fact. That sergey owns 650mil. links ? How do you think they will distribute them ? (all to their partners ?)

Also what do you think about team being so silent about their partners ? Are NDA a real thing ? There must be some big players and insider from these institutions knowig about Link, why they arent taking huge loans and buy all the LINKS ? If this coin is soo great and have its roumored partners, how does this big executives and devs (from swift, axa, doxusing etc...) arent hoarding and pumping the price ?

What needs to be done before the price of LINK start to moon?

>> No.9711764

>>9711733
They need to finish the code and launch main net, for which they have one one try. After that the marketing campaign starts and hopefully NDAs will expire by then, plus more partnerships might be announced. Expect mooning somewhere there, until then it will only be PnD and riding the bitcoin trail.
