I'm buying 50 euro worth of Ripple every week. It's gonna go to 100 euro a coin in ~5 years.

You will be featured in the same type of posts that people said about Eth when it was 1$.

You sir, are now part of history. You might even be featured in future books.

for that to happen XRP would need a 3 trillion dollar marketcap. thats 10x the total mc of crypto right now on just one centralized, shit token. not gonna happen.

Can anyone explain to me what's going on with XRP? I understand what Ripple is, and correct me if I'm wrong is the idea that XRP is 'currency/commodity agnostic' so you can denominate a transaction in XRP rather than in Euros or whatever unit of currency you choose for the transaction but will probably fluctuate in price.

Basically I'm getting at - how many of the total transactions on the Ripple platform are expected to use XRP?

With Interledger there is no cap in tps they can scale up to trillions of transactions per second ;)
Quickest and best way to do that is XRP ;)

>> No.9688633

>>9688613
Doesn't answer my question, give me a prediction, a ball park figure a least. Just because it 'can' or even is the best way to scale up doesn't mean that the banks and payment companies will take up on it.

As a percentage what is it likely to be?

Ya the govt was scurrying to figure out how to get into your $1,500 net worth. Good work going rogue. If the US or another western govt cant regulate crypto easily then they will simply make it illegal until the find a way to do that. When that happens all the markets will go offline and no newbs will be able to buy in. This alone would kill crypto. Then theres the large number that will cash out simply to avoid being illegal. Yes there are many like you that say the dont care but if the govt puts a heavy fine on crypto trading then most of the independent whales are gone. The only way this DOESNT happen is if the govt is already deep in the crypro game. And sibce is hasnt happened yet Id wager youre already on a list
