Yeah, way more retarded than the geniuses that bought five or six months ago.

If your in crypto for the long haul you are always buying. I put aside a percentage of my income every month to purchase crypto. The prices now are not bad at all, especially compared to where they will be in a year from now.

Quit being an asshead

listen to this guys. i smoked some bowls earlier and i thought of something really interesting:

is anyone here old enough to remember palm pilots? like, they were supposed to be the next "big" thing. in the late 90's we had basic cell phones, then palm pilots, which were like the pre-cursor to smart phones, and then cell phones as we know it came along and palm pilots became obsolete. so, palm pilots were basically a short-lived, foreshadowing of something better to come, but not actually the real deal that got adopted.

well, what if crypto is like palm pilots? like none of it makes it or gets adopted, but its the pre cursor to the "real" digital currencies that get created and adopted 5 or 10 years from now? thoughts?

Would have to disagree with you there... Unitus is still set to moon. Trading at $0.016 right now with just 58 million coin supply. The lead dev is super active and it's just starting a rebranding/marketing push. I'm positive this coin will easily hit $1 - $2 minimum. I followed Vertcoin and bought it at $0.03 and while it's still a long way from it's ATH at nearly $10 I still made a killing from it. Unitus is now in the same position to moon.

There's still a ton of profit to be made if you are willing to do the work and have some patience, but that might be asking to much of you autistic fuckers

I feel like this market would be a better place if we could somehow give everyone in it all a slap on the face at once and say "Do you ACTUALLY think these coins are going to go up in the next few months??"
And naturally everyone would say "no, *sigh*" but for the most extremely delusional faggots,
And then we could all just sell the price down at once to it's real current worth and push it sideways for many moons until folks actually get interested again for real

It is pretty damn clear where it is headed. It has been heading the same direction for months. Hardly a guess, anon. Real buying will only start in the $6k-7k range and even then it will probably turn down again toward $5k.

So much money will be lost, but it would be for the better. Bitcoin should not be trading for over $100 at the moment. $300 tops. And until there is actual widespread use as currency it would still be overvalued

>> No.9687144

The good thing about picking projects you think will be long term successes is that every dip in price is an opportunity to lower your average purchase price. I bought in with half my remaining capital this weeks dip and will buy again over next two weeks.

Not every investor is an adhd neet who wants to flip a shitcoin over the course of a month.

Don't believe in any crypto projects long-term? Sell now and GTFO, you shouldn't be involved in this market.

Aside from your le $wunhunnid dolla meme which I will just ignore,
I don't think all that much money would be lost if everyone just understood where the market stands all at once, because no one would panic sell
Profit is only when you've cashed out

Also there's no way it would only be valuable once widespread use is here, people would (and are) buying it beforehand if they so much as think that it would become a broadly used currency
There are only 21 million Bitcoins there well ever be, can imagine if that was spread over just the population of the United States?

>> No.9687769

>>9687167
I agree

Also it's not like i think bitcoin should be valued so low. It is just an illustration use to emphasize that bitcoin (all crypto currencies really) are at this stage really just speculative assets.
If you apply the current btc price to the amount actually in circulation (only about 6% of the 18m mined) you can calculate that its current value should be around $530.
And it still is not used as currency, so really it has no value. That doens't mean that it still won't have value once it starts being adopted as a currency. If one would still quantifies its value in dollar terms at such a time I am sure it would be worth far more than it is priced at today.
