The european banks never recovered from the 2008 crisis for a good reason. Besides, they have been pounded hard these weeks because investors suspect many shenanigans in their balance sheets.

The obvious : the italians. Their latest political move showed a hardening of their stance against the EU. The risk of defaulting on their debts has just raised substantially... debts that happen to be present in the balance sheets of the big european banks.

And there is also Turkey that is getting rekt with no lube. Once again, we suspect european banks have been doing carry-trades with the USD and loan money to the turkroaches. And being turkroaches they have no intention of paying back.
