my suspicion is Chinese involvement. But no its entirely likely that it was japanese in basis, and the only actual question is what groups were actually involved. was it a coorporate move at globalization with a perfect facade in place for the average joe (whether malicious or compassionate), or was it actually a private venture by one or several visionaries. I am not concerned with a specific identity as much as i am concerned with practical specifications of the truth.
