what does it mean when it wicks down past your trend line? does it invalidate the entire trend line? can I safely ignore it? i don't know what i'm doing guys

you won't know until it finishes climbing up. if it breaks up past the half way mark it'll probably retest the upper bound again. if it struggles at the middle and doesn't cross it, you've got a new downward channel forming.

it means the trend is strong because it fell under it then springed right back

if it closed beneath the trend line, then the trend is invalidated or the decision point is occurring

>> No.9602832

Top wicks mean selling pressure. Bottom wicks mean buying pressure. Higher lows mean support holding. Higher highs means more price movement up is possible.

Lower highs after a new ATH could mean trend reversal down depending on RSI status.

ya this tiny slice of a chart isn't enough information to go on. could mean different things depending on what it looks like zoomed out.

It means it was a fakeout, you can see on this picture that after this candle it went up again. You don't ignore it but you don't need to change the trendline aswell.

why is it every single coins seems to have the same wedge? is the golden bull kicking off mid June? dafuq is up?

anyway, ya you can autistically follow the charts to track it back up but I'd suspect its still game on. BTC has been all over the place lately so its bound to have dipped a bit below where you'd expect to find support.

I don't know man but I think we're going to see an alt rally followed by BTC ripping our faces off to $60k. I also think this could happen in the next few weeks.

tightening of price range is indicative of impending breakout. You won't know which way but you can be reasonably assured that it will break eventually. Smaller the range, the sooner the break. This is one of the most basic and reliable indicators in TA. So, using stocks as an example, if you see a decent company's stock trading like this over time, the sector the company is involved with is generally thought to have positive upside, and there is a history of volume moving in when breakouts occur, you can assume that the break will likely be upwards and probably violently so.

If it closes above the trend there is still hope. If it closes below it, you better fucking hope someone with more money than you wants to keep the dream alive.

>> No.9604192

I expect this (not your dumbass number) but sometime relatively soon, after all hope is lost by new blood (Dec onward), I expect BTC to facefuck the weak handed cucks. Gut feeling.
