BCH is an SHA256 coin backed up by the exact same hash power as BTC itself. All ASICs.

BTG is an Equihash shitcoin that until recently was thought to only be mineable by GPUs. Of course ASICs have recently been released for this algorithm and after pissing off Craig, Jihan probably attacked BTG with his massive equihash ASIC farm (that they usually use to mine zCash).

Fucking brainlet. how do you not understand the difference between Equihash and SHA256, the role of ASICs in this, and how much harder it would be to 51% BCH (or BTC) than some Equihash coin with a micro fraction of BCH's hash power being primarily mined by retail GPU cards.

Hash power is purely a function of the value of the network. As the coin goes up in price more hash power is devoted. If Bill Gates pumped BCH to parity with BTC right now the hash power on each chain would be the same within minutes.
