Popular brokers for stock trading:
Robinhood
>commission free and no minimum to open
http://www.robinhood.com

> How is it free?
Robinhood earns revenue by collecting interest on cash/securities and fees from their Robinhood Gold service

> It's been X days, why isn't my account verified yet?
Not being approved in 3 days seems to be the new norm. Nevertheless, call/email their support if you've been waiting more than that.

> When is it coming to my country?
The only "plans" are on an Australian and Chinese beta. Neither of which has gained much traction.

well find a company where its all female led (check SHEs holdings i guess) and get a job there. i mean the further up you go, the more likely youre gonna have to deal with the more hardcore domme shit, but im sure theres a happy medium somewhere where you can get your free corporate mommy tendies, and not have to get railed in the ass every night by some corporate bitch.

cmon comfy, dont tell me youre trying to WORK for your tendies?

this reminds me of the time i hatched the plan to seduce kurt cobains daughter (as i looked like a really low-rent version of kurt cobain when my hair is long and unwashed). i figured she literally has the biggest daddy issues in the world, so all id have to do is look kinda like him, and play guitar really badly, and im IN. then we get hammered and get married at some vegas drive thru chapels, she doesnt get a prenup, and all i have left between me and the cobain family trust is courtney love. i add a couple extra pills to her regular scheduled dose, kill her, and have unlimited money and all the rights to nirvana merchandising.

but then some fucking bum who looks WAY less like kurt cobain took my spot and got married at some vegas drive thru. fucker. if he kills courtney, imma rat him out. that was MY plan

not all oil memes are created equally. youll notice a lot of them dont have any oil right now. so the increased price doesnt do shit for em, cuz they havent gotten to it. thats why im looking at XOP, as its the oil/gas exploration ETF. its adequately priced, so the options arent too much, but you still get good leverage for dollar moves.

also XLE and energy in general
in fact i think the memes to get in on are solar rn

ETFS provide lower yields, and grow slowly. You have 0 control over what to drop and what to keep. Right now I know what the best deals are and can get a higher yield on cost buying select stocks

Im simply too tremendous for Indexes. TThey can not beat me

i dunno, im kind of excited that oil is offering up new opportunities desu. if oil doesnt get WAY too fucking high, and stays at an elevated price, this could be a good game for a while. since OPEC wants it to stay up so that their countries can turn a profit, i believe this is the plan for now (with a few manufactured bumps along the way)

it depends on how you analyze cycles and sub-cycles though. like, if you simply zoom out you will notice that it only goes up with some bumps along the way. it stands that if you bought at anytime in the past, you only had to have waited for an indeterminate amount of time, and you wouldve gotten positive RoI. so technically the golden bull DOES exist, and were in it, but many people are trying to capitalize on shorter term trends, as such, we are losing out on the secured gains that come from the buy and hold method that has been the only consistent way to be profitable on wall street

Since this is a serious trading thread.

I've been wondering how do you decide the time lapse you watch on a trading chart?

I've been looking over the laps of a week, but some even watch at a 1 minute interval.

I have MACD and 3 EMA lines set, with default values except for the 3rd EMA which is set to a 7 units interval.

So how exactly do I decide if I watch over days, weeks, months or hours?

USO continues its year long bull run. MACD and RSI say to sell or buy puts above 14.50. Smart money buys low price calls. Watch Trump twitter.
GBR looks fun. Buy on local 4hr dip or at your leisure.
CEI is operating in a tight range. Recent split may have stopped volatility, volume is healthy. Look into business practices and competitive advantage, price is not moving this week.
XOP honestly has more room to run. Can't tell when the consolidation will occur but buy in when it does. Buy calls 38.50 and below.
XLE weekly chart looks crazy. Lots of volatility so take your pick in action. You could sell puts at 77.50 and above, but I would buy calls at 68.50 and below.

I like to think what people of ancient times did was done for very good and sensible reasons
Death penalty. It was simple and it worked.
I also think people NEED collective memes (belief, religion, superstition) so as to be kept in check and be productive. Without that, they will invent stupid and neferious memes (belief, religion, superstition) to believe in.

Taken as a whole, people tend to believe since it requires no reflexion. You cannot expect people to think. The greatest woe of our time is mass education, which is not fundamentally different from commie and socialist reeducation camps in my opinion (notice the vocabulary used ? EDUCATION). You're not retarded, capital punishment and abortion are two issues, along with immigration that I'm personally on the fence about. What I love the most about my president is the deregulation and willingness to change the world. Not only to change the world to benefit the citizens of other nations, but how he benefits the lives of those at home. This is why the media hates him, and has to press every angle they can against him. They know he's actually a man with his own people's interests at heart yet most media is globally controlled and he's made their narratives irrelevant. It's not even shit post hours, but I've been up all night and need to check futures and see how I should hedge.

It costs me $11 every day for a pack of cigarettes. Some days I smoke 2 or 3 of those. Inflation is rising, but most of that will be soaked in the oil, and people paying for gas. Even the cheap ass food at the market is going up. Used to be able to get produce for less in the winter than what the prices are now... I see inflation, its not the price of gas, it's the price of goods.

I think he's already got some backers in place.
The churn in his staff may give some impression otherwise.
More backers in congress would be absolutely nice though.

I am from yurop. Trump is really the only leader in the West worth a damn. The USA actually elected a man like him tells a lot about this country.
The EU member countries will throw tantrums from time to time against the bureaucracy, but nothing serious will come out of it. (I might keep an eye in the historical Austria-Hungarian empire block countries though since they used to be the counter power to the German Holy Empire hegemony)

Also, I am here almost everyday but I don't do many operations on the stock market. As I am "investing" a la Buffett-sama. I somehow admire you, teh profit, Eternal Bear for making calls all the time.

Germany rn is led by a weak coalition of 3 parties including greens, no clear majority in parliament and no consensus on what to be done. Mutti clings to power but her everyone holds her accountable for the rise of the far right. I guess for a burger it's like a government shutdown when your parliament fails to pass a budget.

Well, He's been making bad decisions and taking shots at his own people. As much as I hate it, yeah he is dividing country. He pulled Jeff Sessions out of the senate, then lost the damn senate race because of the me too movement. He has another 6 years at the helm in my honest opinion, but after him some one needs to take his pen, and run this fucking country. I wish we could do entitlement reform, but the damn filibuster rule of the senate isn't having any help. When some one like Chuck the Smuck Schumer or Elizabeth Warren can just block the entire process of change, how progressive are these people? I hate it, just long gold and bonds.

Yeah, another of retards' meme
I see him as someone open-minded and pragmatic who hires people who he views as:
- competent
- compatible with his current objectives
- useful to a deal or compromise he made
- in the same state of mind as him

And he fires them once they are no longer needed.

It actually takes a lot to fire someone and to play the "bad guy". When you fire no one you end up with a bloated, lazy and inefficient administration.

Don't think about the long term. Because:
1- we will be all dead
2- I don't even know what I am going to eat for dinner how can I predict what happens in the future ?

More and more, I think the most sensible way of viewing things is in terms on years.

So Trump has at most 6 more years of presidency. That makes 6 more years of goodness you can profit from. You reconsider the situation after those 6 years.
Other example, HK is toast in the long term because of China. But for at least 10 more years, HK should be ok.

It's so unfortunate that it's so hard to get a populist shitstorm going.
Trump is the only one that has been successfully elected with conviction to fuck over the immigrants and refugees, and he's still having a hard time thanks to congress.
Macron has said some pretty woke stuff, but Merkel is a straight up Hillary-tier turd sandwich.
And then, we got this fucking soi boy in UK that married a black. The UK hardly even has ooga boogas, and the fucking dumbass went for it.
How does this shit happen? How the fuck is humanity perpetuating these failed losers that are stuck in idealism?
I haven't watched I'd, but it seems like basically the problem that I have with humanity. It's so fucking absurd.

You should learn how to cook. Personally planning and practice helps. I've made food for chicks that just seals the deal. Women love my cooking, and it's fucking easier when you understand markets, since you can haggle and get the best possible prices. Inflation is real though, damn prices are going up.

So in response to an anon lamenting his student debt loan woes 13 hours ago.You can go to numerous banks and lending organizations that will purchase the right to your loan contract outright and then charge you a rate, which can be as low as 3% for the duration of payment. They can afford to do this because they have millions to billions of dollars and they charge you the minimum amount they need to make money more or less. The rates available change over time depending on market conditions, so in cases where the rates are close to what you are normally charged, chances are they will go down significantly at some point. This is why its in your best interest to pay back debt as slowly as possible over the longest period of time. You can eventually negotiate a lower rate for a larger amount of your principle if you slow burn it. This same logic applies to most things in fact, imagine
Anon A pays an additional 10,000 dollars per year towards student loans, or save that money towards safe investments
Anon B decides to save 10,000 per year but he has to pay student loans for an additional 10 years.

In ten years, would you rather, have 100,000 dollars and 100,000 dollars of debt
OR
Have 0 dollars and 0 debt.

This is assuming a rate of return of 0.00%. Having money is having security. Paying loans over time helps build credit, and it saves your own capital for investment, and more importantly, to keep you safe in the case of unforeseen life events. If you have 0 dollars and 0 debt, you can't handle ANYTHING happening. Car breaks down? Fucked. Lose your job for 2 months? Fucked.

So many people fail to save because they feel compelled to pay everything off as soon as physically possible. You fuck yourself by limiting your cash flow, and open yourself up for destruction by random life events you are not prepared for. Even if after ten years you don't want to debt, you have the money to pay it off, and all the while you didn't leave yourself vulnerable.
