Stupid Skycoin FUD faggots are keeping you from the future. Normies are going to cling to this shit.

No they are not pointless.

Everyday here there is endless shitcoins and ether farming games shilled here. Right along with countless wojak threads and other types of crybaby and braggart threads.

Crypto was not designed for dApps. This whole space has been poisoned by the dApp sphere and put far too much pressure on what was suppose to be decentralized currency. Crypto cannot scale horizontally for the purpose of dApps. EOS solves this but sacrifices decentralization to achieve their goal. And honestly, EOS is highly constrained in comparison to what Holo will offer dApp creators and devs.

The bottom line is the majority of you cannot even grasp what Holo is trying to do much less understand how. It's easy to judge a book by its cover and its fun to poke fun at a fat hippy who has nothing to do with the technical part of the project, but this place needs to take a stand and seriously support Holo. At least as much as you guys support some of your other Biz Favs.

Yeah actually easy for normies. Pretty important for adoption.

Someone accused me of FUDing last time.

My understanding is that holochain token (to be converted to holofuel) is intended to have a relatively stable low value which would make it bad as an investment.
Will holochain be kept separate and produce holofuel or is there some appreciation mechanism for holofuel that I'm missing.

No read this
https://github.com/holochain/benchmarks
price will stabilise but much higher than what it is now

This is really cheap shilling unless you give some arguments for what Holo is doing that's as good as Sky.

Are the Holo shills ordered to attack Sky now because they're losing market and they're afraid of the testnet?

>> No.9507998

Nigga not attacking the sky tech itself, just saying to do your own research on holo and not to listen to fud kek there's no reason to attack sky's code it already speaks for itself

Holy shit no

It has a static computational value, so it means there is fluctuating "gas" not static USD value or any intended USD value. They aren't making the money markets (USD,BTC,ETH,WHATEVER) they are going to set a fixed amount of compute that a HOT token buys.

Gotta love the sky children. Sack riding Synth and plexi cube with some bootstrapped Raspberry Pi's and some blockchain based tech that they apparently think can compete with Holochain. Try to understand technologies involved and the implications of how much better Holochain will be as a dApp solution over traditional blockchain solutions. Maybe, do a little research.

In order to avoid compute becoming expensive beyond reason they have to inflate/deflate, no?

The guy above suggests (to me anyway, I'll read his link in a minute) that there will be a stable price but it will higher than it is now so it still makes sense to invest.

Also, I went through their Holoworld tutorial. As developer the getting set up required a few steps but they were all pretty intuitive.
It amounted to choosing data structures and letting your local node know about them. If there's all there is too it then development will be fairly easy for new projects which is a major plus.

There are some other metrics that need to be shown though like how fast data can be sent around and synced. In other words, if you're going to set up a decentralized twitter or facebook you're going to want something closer to real time.
