LINK here. Banyan there. Pajeet scams and pyramids. Girls with cryptos tatooed on their breasts and ENDLESS frog threads.

I am challenging each and every one of you right now to FUD me on the DERO blockchain and tell me why in January 2019, DERO will still be at 3$ and a sub-$5M marketcap.

Here is what I present to you:

- Launched recently - On CMC very recently : https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/dero/#charts
- Block time of 3 seconds
- 500 tps on-chain (no need for a lightning network)
- Shadow addresses
- Blockchain scalable to terabytes
- Complete SSL
- CryptoNote v7 not good enough so they're rewriting their OWN version of CryptoNote to screw over ASICs
- Smart contracts written in GO (as opposed to Solidity) making them far more accessible and easier to understand
- Atomic swaps
- No ICO ! No whales, no price manipulation.
- 2 million DERO premine that will release at a set schedule over the course of 4 years; this premine wallet can be viewed at any time, and all funds will go to the development and promotion of the blockchain
- DERO whitepaper (finished version), technical papers, source code, and normie-friendly GUI wallets releasing within 45 days
- Website getting a complete overhaul within a week updating details
- Dev team weeks ahead of schedule, aren't even spending any time advertising because they're spending so much time on the blockchain putting in nearly 90 hours a week
- Dev support team on slack nearly 24/7, you can literally talk to a member of the team RIGHT NOW in their Slack chatroom to answer ANY questions you have
- Everyone who has invested in this and has spent time researching the project is immensely curious at its potential (think: PoWH 3D and Ethroll, but with DERO, think: real-world transactions with 100% privacy, think: their own exchange, and it goes on)

I'm here to deflect any FUD you may have.

Come at me!

As stated in the last DERO Monthly Update, the DERO-Atlantis refactoring takes a little time to be completed. "Expect DERO-Atlantis to launch and completely operational in another 30-45 days". https://forum.dero.io/t/dero-monthly-update/446

Nothing abnormal here.

> No clue of who the devs are and the premine is huge
Indeed, devs are anonymous. As a lot of cryptocurrencies we're seeing in the top 20 now when they were young cryptocurrencies. For instance, don't tell me you knew who was developping Antshares when it started, nobody knew either.

The premine is not huge. This FUD has already been debunked multiple times, please DYOR about it, it is easy to find.

Source :
> Why Dero has a premine :
> Dero has no ICO, or community funding of any kind. A premine was deemed to be necessary for the long term development and success of the project.
> The Dero will be locked to various heights for the next 4 years and a portion of premine will be used for various community activities.
> All premine details will be available with complete transparency, and the viewkey will be documented here in coming days. The Cryptonote protocol can lock coins to various block heights.

Let me ask you something : How do you think people are reviewing executables and finding vulnerabilities (Windows, IE, Adobe products, ...) without any source ?

The answer is easy : We can their code without sources. It is called reverse engineering. Let me tell you I haven't waited for the sources in order to review their code, as potential vulnerabilities are easier to grab when none has the source.

Let me tell you something else : They are legit. The code is very good, I don't know who they are either but they absolutely know what they're doing. This is the reason why I invested in DERO. I am *not* going to wait until everybody knows how DERO is good for investing.

Congratulations for people who heard about DERO at such an early stage.
However, there is no way this cryptocurrency will stay at $3.00 with the current development going on. Feel free to disagree with me.

>We can their code without sources. It is called reverse engineering.
It's just easier when people release the god damn code. It establishes trust between user and developers/code. Cryptocurrencies need this sort of trust to work.

Once they release the code I'll begin to take this seriously (or not, if the code is shit).

Wrong, we only don't know their identity. However, you can talk with them on Slack whenever you want. They answer every single question people asks to them, technically speaking or not.

> There's nothing special about it.
There are definitely special things about DERO, including a Go implementation and a CryptoNote rewriting. Please read the whitepaper again in order the implication of such decisions.

> Do you really think this is going to go to$800 or something?
Not immediatly, certainly not. It takes time building an entire blockchain, let alone a community and partnerships. In the meantime, they're definitely building a good blockchain, and that alone is worth more than 3$.

> There'll probably be a bigger gain in a shorter amount of time from another coin.
Maybe. Maybe not. Nobody knows.

You are right. However it doesn't mean Dero cannot do any better than 300 TPS. It's only its early stage. Anyway, TPS is a flawed measurement, you can manipulate this data easily.

>> No.9487615

>What makes this coin better than ENG? Genuinely curious not trying to FUD.

There's nothing much to compare between ENG and DERO.

ENG is a utility token for accessing data in Enigma Catalyst platform, that will remain on Ethereum network as an ERC20 token.

DERO is a blockchain project written from scratch (not a fork) in Go language, the langage created by Google few years ago.

The focus is enhanced privacy and smart contracts while at the same time maintaining high security and transparency for the blockchain.

The aim is to ensure the creation of a unique and modern blockchain technology, which has better reliability, security, usability, privacy, and portability. To achieve this, the creators of this technology will bring together unique technologies such as Smart Contracts and the CryptoNote protocol. This will ensure the creation of *private smart contracts*.

This is a huge deal, as this concept is missing in the current cryptosphere.

All smart contracts on the DERO blockchain blockchain are going to run on DERO Virtual Machine. The DVM is a Turing Complete 256-bit virtual machine runtime environment created for DERO smart contracts. It has been created with the CryptoNote Protocol privacy and various other modifications.

Assets can be recorded and stored on the DERO blockchain. This will be done without having the identities and details of those involved. To achieve this, they will utilize subaddresses. However, it will still be possible to conduct an audit and verify the facts. Anything including land, property, and even car registration can be possible with DERO. With the enhanced privacy, owners will not have to worry about revealing intricate details about their personal lives.

This is in my honest opinion a token that matches well with what we need in real life, contrary to some popular coins. Open sourcing and transparency is awesome, but privacy in smart contracts must be developed. Anonymity isn't always enough.

Nano can't go more than 200 TPS avg, casper is PoS that mean centralized network with point of failure.

Dero it will be 500TPS avg in PoW (totally decentralized), 60 sec full confirmation, 3sec blocktime on good hardware (6-8 sec on lower device) and no orphan bloc = no more accidental fork.

Dero actually beat their 3 second block time and hit 2 second pow blocks. They're adjusting to 6-8 seconds and can hit 2 second blocks in a real world test environment (go ask). It's awesome to see that they think of everyone so that people everywhere can be included

This has everything eth is missing for the next step
