Welcome to Kevin's cult, your money is taken hostage until the exchange launches.
You are not supossed to fud it because if you do you will lose the only option to sell at +% as XCM is only expected to be sold in coinmetro at first.
Credit cards are expected next month aswell with the beta launch, fiat license is completed.
Remember it is a 15mcap product sell at your own risk.

If you're not a normie then you're obviously not okay with a cryptocurrency exchange asking for camera access ever and use some other out of the hundred possible options.

>>9446311
Again, I disagree that normies actually will care. I can't prove that however so I guess we'll just have to wait and find out.

As for me, I'm not a sperg with a tin foil hat that wants to "rebel against the bankers" and who thinks that everyone is out to get them. They require strict KYC to be fully compliant with current and potential future AML laws, is that a difficult concept for you to grasp? Just because a lot of the current exchanges has been getting away with light KYC doesn't mean that it's a smart move from a legal standpoint and regulators will start cracking down sooner rather than later. Even if you personally don't agree with the strict KYC, it makes perfect sense from Coinmetro's viewpoint as the entity that will face the repurcussions should they fuck up.

Contracts aren't about words on paper, they're about expectations.
You don't have any reasonable expectation of gains from an ICO.
When you send tokens to an exchange you absolutely have a reasonable expectation that you will get them back, hence the bitgrail lawsuit.

They cannot operate the exchange from a legal standpoint unless they enforce strict KYC to ensure that they are compliant with the relevant laws. If they don't, they will be shut down by the regulators and likely prosecuted. You are making this into a personal issue when in actuality it's about legal compliance.

Binance does. I will reluctantly send my details to massive exchanges with insurance, physical addresses, and strict regulatory oversight ie. coinbase.

coinbase is strict becuase they deal with fiat, as will coinmetro. Binance et al. do not deal with fiat

>> No.9447182

>>9447061
Just because Binance does not enforce strict KYC does not mean that it's a wise choice from a legal standpoint. Also, Binance does not offer fiat-crypto solutions which Coinmetro will. As this market matures, you will see a lot of the current exchanges running into problems with regulators around the world because they do not enforce strict enough KYC to comply with AML laws. Coinmetro is doing the right thing by being dilligent and staying compliant. If you don't want to do your KYC then that's fine but you won't be able to access the platform nor your tokens.
