it's almost as if the markets move up and down.

It's the fault of leverage traders. People expect BTC to rise and long it, so market maker crash it to wreck them and get their money. They're switching patterns on them, and shorter/longers are too dumb to see that they're just gambling and that the game is rigged against them. If you're invested in the actual market, this creates some bumps, but don't pay attention to them, everything corrects eventually and things generally get to where they should even though that makes them take detours that can suck a lot.

If I understand the situation correctly, CME and other giants are sucking up the money that would be going into Bitcoin if they weren't selling futures for it. Plus now that it's public knowledge that the Mt. Gox trustee can just crash the market at will sucking up money by the billions, people are less hesitant to invest in Bitcoin.

That's why I think it's a losing game for Bitcoin. This past failure to beat the 10k mark could be the beginning of the end for Bitcoin, and I'd guess it will take down BCH with it. The truth is, Bitcoin is useless. It costs too much to send, it's too slow and the Lightning network is a joke. So really, I'd say the future #1 spot belongs to either ETH or EOS. They're the platforms with real room to expand.

fucking tired of this poorfag shit making only a few grand by selling anytime it gets near 10k after every instance where this piece of shit decides to dip and drag everything else down. i don't even care about making it with 1 mil anymore, just give me a small bull run to my 100k and i'll gladly fuck off for good.

so is this a good thing or a bad thing? In the past 4 months the manipulation went apeshit. Btc charts look total different.

It's a bad thing. Unless something big happens, BTC won't survive the summer.
95% of volume and order books are fake - wash trading by exchanges, arbitrage bots, spoofing bots and futures getting liquidated. Then there are derivative exchanges like Bitmex and a few whales, who draw Barts to liquidate shorts/longs and make a quick buck.

No one actually buys or sells anything. When this actually come out, and this will come out as soon as SEC actually starts checking the makerts like they promised they would, the whole market is going to 0.
