Alright guys, here's the REAL DEAL with LINK, some of you don't have a grasp on the project and need to hear this.

First of all, main net isn't going to happen for 6-12 months. They still have A LOT of work to do, including the code and testing for the entire node reputation and consensus system (the hardest part). Then they have to bug test everything. Jonny the linkpool guy agrees on this timeframe by the way.

Let's move onto the good news. Normies won't care to look at LINK until it's already on a run. There are shit load of people who are fully aware of LINK that are waiting until main net to buy in, so that'll be the initial pump that will get people to look at it, and from there main net will allow us to (hopefully) see some big names requesting data which will pump it more. This is also the point at which tokens will be locked into contracts for penalty payments and hoarded by nodes for reputation. So THEORETICALLY what we get is a main net pump, a look at the companies using LINK, and huge influx of new buyers with a HEAVILY restricted supply - aka THE SINGULARITY

Based on what? I'm all in link, ico holder, but fuck man I just don't see them finishing the consensus and reputation contracts in two months. Unless that private repo Steve's been working in includes some of those contracts, but Thomas has stated more than once they haven't started working on those contracts yet.

I am Software Engineer myself.

Based on my experience, based on the deliverables so far and the milestones to achieve for a successful mainnet, it seems like they will need at least 6 months more for testnet only. This includes code review, regression tests, performance tests, interoperability tests, box tests, attack vector tests etc. After that, they need at least 6-12 months to deliver the main net with full features as mentioned in the whitepaper. This is an very optimistic estimate given their recent achievements as shown in the pivotal tracker. In the worst case we are looking 2019 EOY for the mainnet release with full features like reputation system, consensus, staking, TEE support etc.

LINK is super long HOLD. If someone here is for get rich quick then they need to sell their bag hype coins like IOTA, Vechain, Tron, AMB etc.

Slow and Steady wins the race. And patience is the greatest virtue.

But if I killed myself, this is how I’d do it. You got to do it right. I’d get a job fixing people’s computers. Like at Geek Squad or something like that. I’d go over to someone’s house when we get a call. I’d get on their computer, take a look a bit, and then say “excuse me ma’am, can I use your bathroom real quick?” So I’d get in the bathroom, lock the door, shit and piss over everything, stab myself in the legs and wrists so there’s blood everywhere, and then shoot myself. The stabbing part is important because if you just shoot yourself in the head it might not empty out all the blood and you want as big of a mess as possible. So some time would pass, and she’d start wondering why you’re in the bathroom so long. But think about it. You don’t want to interrupt someone in the bathroom right? It’s weird. But then half an hour goes by, an hour, two hours, and you’re still in the bathroom and the door is locked and you’re not working on their computer like they expect. So I don’t know what happens later or if/when they kick down the door or pick the lock or something, but once they get inside, they find your shit, piss and blood everywhere and a dead body. They make a call to get their computer fixed and get this instead. There’s no amount of therapy in the world that can fix that psychological damage when they open the door. So there you go.
