Would you guys recommend to run a masternode? For example for smartcash? Is it worth it to buy one or just wasted money?

Zcoin looked promising. but allot of these Mastenodes turned to shit. I picked up some vivo if it gets on another exchange might see a nice pump. Also got enough for Triggers if that ever takes off.

This, plus most of those ultra low cap shitcoins are just simple forks of dash with different basic settings, but exactly the same code otherwise.

Yes.
Look at the price history of coins where one mn is worth <$100 at masternode.online (pic related is a random example). Each of them was once worth >1000-2000$ with """1000% ROI""" and dumped 99.9% to its current price. It's also hard to find a mn coin with active development that is more then 2 months old, since the development process usually goes as follows:

>fork dash
>set up website filled with "coming soon" and discord channel
>dump premined coins on market
>delete website
>repeat

There are so many dead mn projects, I don't know how people still fall for that.
