Is the coin a worthwhile investment? The idea is interesting, and the market cap is attractive. Is this a sleeping giant?

The idea of execution inside walled garden docker containers for common compute tasks (transcoding, rendering, etc) is fucking genius. Keeps the hosts safe and provides a zero barrier to entry for companies already doing this shit in in containers.

This is like an even cheaper aws lambda that you can actually use for long running processes.

Sleeping giant is an understatement.

Companies already do their everything that is "job" based inside of Docker containers , unless it requires some kind of special hardware access.

Lets say you are a software development shop, you need to build an extremely large software project like Android from source code hundreds to thousands of times a day. Or you are a media distribution company and you need to take a master of a video and transcode it into 50+ formats for all of your customers/players.

Right now they do this on farms of servers usually in AWS at extremely high cost with an object storage backend.

1. Job is given a trigger via an api
2. Compute hosts put the job in a queue
3. The jobs are executed by priority on the cluster
4. The input for the jobs is a series of ENV variables (think of this as metadata)
5. The job pulls the input from object storage (just a password protected http host)
6. The job processes
7. The output is uploaded to object storage when finished.

Now these types of systems are a dime a dozen in the corporate world right now, and everyone is trying to figure out how to get their 6 figure a month AWS bills under control. The biggest cost in AWS is normally compute (EC2 or ECS running on top of EC2).

So you now have a service that is less than 1/10th the cost that can use the same input output workflow and you do not need to manage or monitor compute hosts, the Iexec platform just does that for you while saveing you 90K a month on your AWS bill.

ok thanks. i have a slightly better understanding now. i only knew about rendering blender files from a video on youtube and a partnership with one of the top ICOs that will use iexec for their scaling issues. this is an additional layer.
pic related is one of the potential partnerships for the ICO so you know this back end solution will be put to use if everything plays out.

I don't have either coin. The reality is you are desperately trying to invent a narrative of some competing coins spreading RLC fud.

But I have just one question - what makes RLC anything but vaporware? What have they even released? What is being run on the RLC network?

Where's the IBM partnership? Presenting at a conference means nothing. Weeks have passed since with no news - that means no partnership.

RLC will be delisted from Bittrex and Binance soon enough as the project begins to fold up and fade away.

I'm telling you this because I feel bad that delusional bagholders will lose their money on this vaporware "project".

Once again - show me anything concrete developed by the RLC team. You can't. You're going to be dumped on when the v2 release occurs and or (more likely) ends up being delayed indefinitely.

There is nothing - this is complete vaporware. I can see you are upset; maybe you believe in this project but that doesn't change that this is vaporware which will be delisted from major exchanges before the year is over and likely exit scamming (-99%+ dump) early 2019.

Patrician tier project. Won’t see explosive growth soon, but will be huge in 2 years.

Guess why there’s no volume...holders aren’t willing to sell their tokens like this.

Ico price 0.25c, ath was 4.6 usd. Anything below 1.8 usd is a good entry for what is coming. Swing traded my 2k stack to 3k and will leave them like this until q2 2020 rolls out.
