>Message consumers

>Message consumers take messages from Service Bus. The underlying eventing model for message consumers allows for extensions of additional services and systems. For example, you could add support to populate CosmosDB or evaluate messages using Azure Streaming Analytics. The following sections describe the message consumers included in Blockchain Workbench.

>Distributed ledger consumer
>Distributed ledger technology (DLT) messages contain the metadata for transactions to be written to the blockchain. The consumer retrieves the messages and pushes the data to a transaction builder, signer, and router.

Possible companies using chainlink?

>> No.9306568

Here is my theory. SmartContract created Chainlink as an open source backbone with the intention of being the backbone to ANY product needing oracles. SmartContract is behind the scenes showing companies that they don't have to design an oracle solution as they open sourced for them. I think the company's customers will be using chainlink without ever knowing. For example, I expect Microsoft to own a bunch of link and then charge customers in dollars as the decentralized oracle is just part of their azure solution.

IMO This site and smartcontracts/Chainlink are part of a bigger plan that involves many. That is the reason I am 100% a Link hodler and comfy as comfy can be. It explains many things, including why Sergey gets so much air time at very critical events/conferences. If any of these companies want to monetize their own data while cutting costs and improving speeds, then yes. Because they'll need LINK tokens to utilize the network and smartcontract capabilities. And word will get out, and regardless if Microsoft or oracle or sales force or Tesla or XYZ LunarBob's Hotdogs on the Moon customers realize they are using link, people who have data and want to make money with it will find out about link. And again decrease the supply.
Look I topped up another 12k link yesterday evening and it hasn't gone below since then. I'm one dude. Imagine when real companies or older more wealthy more experienced more technically inclined Normans start trying to get involved.

I think Chainlink expands the use case of blockchain far beyond anything we have already established already with Eth. At the moment were playing games like crypto kitties, but with chianlink we can do things like automatically pay out insurance settlements if you get too much rain in a certain area or an earthquake past a certain strength. One clearly has more use, if blockchain is the highway, and Eth is the car, chainlink is the gas. Everything that runs a motor needs gas, not just cars, link is blockchain agnostic that bridges the gap between smart contracts and real world data.

If you want to make millions, design an interface that converts fiat to link and processes data requests. Just a plug in that any company can pick up, put fiat into and use chainlink without ever buying a token themselves. Would be easy to do but I am brainlet

>> No.9308790

One could even code a smart contract to turn fiat into link for payment. I assume companies will charge customers a network fee without naming chainlink and they would take care of it themselves, again I think most people using chainlink wont actually know its a part of the transaction
