Say I inherited 90% of a house/property and a sibling I am in bad relations with owns the rest. Is there a way I can legally make them sell me the last 10%?
I live in Europe and I assume laws for situations like this is similar across the west.

just try to work it out. you are family after all; it would be worth the effort to resolve the conflict even I it doesn't seem that way now.

No we won't believe me, this person is a miserable lonely person, and the only thing she has left in her life is to torture me as much as she can and this is her golden opportunity.

>>9304889
Please elaborate, do you have any experience with situations like this.

Experience in this area, no. But I know enough to know this is where to start looking.

I don't think you understand the weight of having borderline clinically crazy family members, that hate your guts because of their own failures in life

And I am putting family over money, this family member is going against the family, and we all want them not to have part in the property, not just me

Ok so you basically want to fully own the house/property in case you wanna renovate it or something?

>> No.9306048

That, and to rent it to tourists, and if the person owns a part and wants do deny me the right to do that for the whole property, she can

Ok I see where you're going. How did you inherit 90% and she only 10%?

A bit more complicated than that, basically grandma and grandpa own 50/50.Grandpa dies 16.6% for grandma, my mom, and aunt(the trouble person) each, grandma kinda hates them both so leaves all of her share to me and my sister, I want my parents to live there and rent the house to tourists(big house ,good money). Aunt hates my mom basically because she is divorced and childless, she makes her miserable,I want her out.
