If you're somewhat handy and you don't give a fuck about life ever improving over the long term just go to Florida or California and bum it out on the beach with a tent. A cousin of mine has been doing it since before I was born and he's about 50 now (at least 30 years.) He's dirt poor, all he does is work odd jobs for food and weed and he seems pretty happy.

If you're handy you'll literally never have a problem finding a job in one of those states especially near the richer parts of town. Rich people don't paint, they don't do their own landscaping or house cleaning or personal construction/fix-it jobs.

He sometimes will do one painting job and net a couple thousand. He's been doing it enough that he has connections that will put him on payroll (independent painting crew) when he needs it and it's all under the table.

Some people like camping and the entertainment is being outside on the beach or swimming in the ocean or just generally doing shit outside. He does go to the movies every once and a while but he tries to work as little as possible.

Most weeks out of the month he literally sits on his ass, smokes weed and chills.

Not my type of lifestyle but some people would consider that the most stress-free life you can have.
