I can't stop from shitposting on /biz/, but for the love of money, don't turn this board into the fucking boards you came from.

>Rule 1
All coins other than bitcoin are shitcoins until proven otherwise

>Rule 2
Don't treat your shitcoin as the /only/ way to make it. Blockchain will disrupt every industry around the world and competition will be rampant. We only require due diligence.

>Rule 3
ALL shilling must follow the SHILLING GUIDELINES;
Shills MUST contain atleast ONE piece of necessary information. Secondary information is optional.

Necessary Information
- What is the primary use case of your shitcoin?
- What problem does it solve?

Secondary Information
- What industry does it target?
- What is its current supply/marketcap?
- Dev team information
- Partnerships
- Literally anything else

>IMPORTANT
Do NOT shill a coin with only secondary information.

>Rule 4
Don't treat your investments like a personal team

>Rule 5
Don't ask questions you can answer within 1 minute on google.

>Rule 6
If you want to complain about thots, head to /r9k/
If you want to give a PSA about personal health, head to /fit/
If you want to complain about women or jews, head to /pol/
If you want to post a "Lol why no shitcoin thread?" thread, head to reddit.
If you want to figure out what's valuable and how to make money, post on /biz/

>Rule 7
Think about whether your post belongs on /biz/ or not.
>Should I buy
>How should I spend
>Predictions?
>muh kikes
>muh niggers
>muh street shitting
There are other boards that welcome this type of useless shit and we can all visit them in a few clicks. Don't bring that useless shit to /biz/

>Rule 8
Low effort threads are better than useless threads.
****************************************
THINGS TO LOOK OUT FOR
Any posts that begin with
>I told you about
>I bought x when it was y
>IT'S ABOUT TO BREAK OUT
is a newfag post and must be ignored. If you post like this, you are PART OF THE PROBLEM.

I'll give an example of a good shill.

Request Network (REQ)
Attempting to function as an operational layer around Ethereum, allowing for more financial operability of smart contracts.
It automates accounting by utilising triple entry bookeeping to increase the efficiency, accuracy and reliability of audits, taxes, payments and factoring while decreasing the cost to do so.

Why is this a good shill with so little information?
It mentions the coin
It explains briefly what it does

This is important so anons like yourself don't have to
>DYOR
just to find out whether or not the crypto does something you care about or want to invest in.
It also helps gauge whether or not the coin makes sense.

All we need is flags and all of this boards problems will be solved

>> No.9296660

>>9296630
/biz/ will never have flags. Introducing flags only allows newfags another avenue to shitpost.

Flags do not contribute to the credibility of information one way or the other. If someone from a US IP says VEN is partnered with DNVGL, it's just as credible as someone from an Indian IP saying the same thing. It's up to you to cross reference and/or source information you find here.

The best way to handle information on /biz/, if you're from /pol/, is to treat ALL information as though it's from an Indian IP.

This forces you to automatically be sceptical enough to source whatever information is being said.

Ok a question for you then guys, I want to trade BTC/Altcoins with just focusing on accumulating BTC - what exchange should I be on? Binance?

>> No.9296707

>>9296665
how can people be this fucking stupid?
it amazes and saddens me

>> No.9296712

Binance is good for this- it's what I primarily use.

Bittrex and various other exchanges aren't bad if the altcoin you're aiming to trade is only hosted there.
Eg Factom is on Bittrex and not Binance. So due to shit fact, I have a Bittrex account.

I'd suggest making accounts on multiple exchanges- during a bull run they'll probably shut down registrations like they did in January. You'll want to be in the door if or when they get an early listing to a new coin you're trying to trade.

Due to this fact*
I was writing "due to shitcoin variety" then deleted it- although apparently I didn't delete enough.

It is sad. But educating newfags is better than letting them run rampant for 5 months and destroying this board.

>>9296739
Binance has USDT pairings. When you want to hedge your bitcoin into USD, you can put it into USDT and it'll essentially sit pegged to the US dollar while you sleep.
This means you don't have to cash out every time you want to 'cash out' during high volatility.

You can also find the markets each altcoin is available on via Coinmarketcap.
There's a markets tab on each coin listed there.
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ethereum/#markets
Here's ETH, for example.

would you rate my poorfolio? OMG/BAT/ICON/ZRX/TOMO. thanks a lot

I'm cooking at the moment so I can only give a brief rating;

OMG; Great. Thinking of adding this to my portfolio. I sold it last year with a plan to buy in this year as they neared plasma release.

BAT; Not enthused by this. It requires people to use their browser- I haven't read too much into it so I may be missing something, but I don't imagine people changing their browsers for a crypto. They might- i'm also not familiar with the industry and market potential for this coin.
I'm not going to touch it- although I wish you luck.

ICON; Very good. This is unironically the closest thing to ANS last year. Not in terms of potential growth or hype, but in regards to adoption. I remember the ant logo was slowly reaching marketplaces and adoption in China before the rebrand. ICON has the low level adoption that had ANS holders excited. The difference now is many other crypto's do too and low level adoption isn't as uncommon as it was during the time of ANS getting shilled here.
ICX is a solid part of my portfolio as the multi-billion dollar entities surrounding this crypto as well as existing institutional use in South Korea (one of the worlds social crypto hubs) suggests it'll do great things in the future.

ZRX; I've also been meaning to add this to my portfolio. Being used by like what, 12 dex's already? Everyone investing into utilities etc is great, but investing into protocols like this is the smarter thing to do imo. It's already close to it;s January ATH and we're at the November-December equivalent of the December-January bullrun we saw last year. I imagine this will do well- only gripe I have is its 800mil marketcap. It's a small gripe as i've always been a fan of low marketcap coins. For the most part, I ignore prices of tokens and coins atm as the scope of blockchain is far larger than I think many people here realise.

tl;dr, ZRX is great imo.

TOMO; idk what this is lol.

Gonna get back to cooking. I'll be back periodically

Browser V1.0 made with chromium. Just like Chrome except you get paid to browse, have tor tabs, have no trackers or data breaches. etc

Plugins and extensions will transport BAT economic model over to other browsers

Only apple verified crypto, most chance of being listed and available everywhere

Partners include DOW Jones media > owned by Rupert Murdoch biggest media mogul in the world

Brendan Eich

This is the change in browsing history, this is coming at the perfect time, amidst privacy controversies & public outcry. The revolution is happening under your nose

Brendan said he wants to create an ecosystem with BAT at the centre. Imagine
>view ad
>get paid
>pay paywall in BAT
>access and support website

>Access sport and media pay in BAT
>Direct donate function to all content creators
>Upvotes and downvotes in BAT

Theres so much scope for this crypto that its likely Brendan will abandon the ETH platform and deploy a series of Blockchains to expand its fullest.
