We are just coming off of a multi-month bear market where the overall market has dipped more than 50%. In the past week or two we had some slight recovery, but most of even that has been erased in the last 24-48 hours.

The fact that LTC is managing to hold something even close to what can be considered "stable" speaks volumes about its worth and potential for 2018. There is no point to selling LTC now when just about every single other coin is stable at best, and dipping at worst. Why are you expecting LTC to moon while the market shits the bed?

Yeah, I've seen BCH. It had a nice pump up of around 50% and then it walked some of that back. If you were able to time the market, you probably made some good short-term gains. Good. I wouldn't expect BCH to be able to continue to hold that momentum, however. There are many, myself included, who believe that LTC has a chance at overtaking BCH this year.
