it´s already happening , in fact bch is also adopted massively in venezuela.
Not only that but the commie government pushed for their petro ico scam , because they started to seize miners all around the country.

Then the government threatened the websites that had the paralel dollar to bolivar price and even normies started to using bitcoin as a way to measure the venezuelan bolivar currency.

BTC can only go up now , BCH could also go up even more than btc if they focus on things like localbitcoins.
