I'm just looking for a discussion. I don't get how blockchain is supposed to improve supply chain. Having sensors to track products at each shipment point is a good idea. I don't get what blockchain does for this, if you want redundancy use a mirrored distributed sql database. Like what does a blockchain provide? What are the tokens for? As for I can tell "blockchain" is just a way to raise a lot of venture capital really fast.

I am scared to death that one day management is going to tell us to do "blockchain" and we're going to have to argue that "blockchain" doesn't fit this usecase.
