About holding bitcoin-- there are better opportunities elsewhere when your portfolio isnt a full one yet. Even if you put 1k into bitcoin and it went up 1k, thatd only be 10%. do some research and find more coins like LINK that you think will go up-- and sell when they go up an amount youre comfy with. (or sell parts) Also something I wish I knew: You dont always have to jump from coin to coin, tether/DAI (eth version) is your friend

OP, all you have to do is put your 1k into a low market cap, relatively high volume coin and boom, you are golden. 40-50x easy.
