The only "plans" are on an Australian and Chinese beta. Neither of which has gained much traction.

Like I know a guy who got hit by a fine, and he just did like some community service instead of paying, so they're going to get it reduced, then turn it into a charitable donation thing where they just end up taking it out of their advertising budget. In fact, I think there is a rule of thumb : are the Bogs and Sminem enthusiastic about the stock ?
If yes, success would be liberally priced in leading to a greater risk of an earning dump.
In no, stock would be shorted and any piece of good news or less shitty results than expected will results would pop the SP.

Today's hexagram: OBSTRUCTION

The Judgement

OBSTRUCTION. The southwest furthers.
The northeast does not further.
It furthers one to see the great man.
Perseverance brings good fortune.

The image of OBSTRUCTION.
Thus the superior man turns his attention to himself
And molds his character.

US has been a net exporter since at least 2011, but the question of future sufficiency is one of refinement rather than crude supply. US refineries are aging rapidly with few new facilities coming online, and the majority of plant is located in the gulf where it's routinely interrupted by weather phenomena. Also over the past decade or so many formerly integrated US companies have focused on production and sold off refining assets/interests, in many cases to non-US entities (Saudi Aramco owns the largest US refinery).

It's been puzzling that there hasn't been more interest in developing or upgrading US refineries under Trump given his pro-business anti-regulation agenda. His tweeting against OPEC could be one of those 5d chess moves meant to nudge US oil in that direction.

>> No.9003409

Holy fuck, I just realized that GE inadvertently saved themselves from market capitulation by being a complete fuckup last year. It’s amazing how far the pendulum swung in the Democratic Party. The Democratic Party of the 90s was like the conservatives of today. They tried to strike a balance between the people and business. Most importantly the fought for free speech, even if it didn’t align with their views. It’s crazy how fast it happened to. Basically the last 4 years of Obama.

The US is a net exporter of refined products, but not raw crude. It imports crude for refining.

EPA regulations pretty much shut down refinery construction, as most of them need to be near deep water ports to be economically viable. That, combined with excessively long permitting and construction durations, make new US refining capacity all but a pipe dream.

Currently long on oil. I'm just going to hold on. We're seeing a Trump tweet market spasm but it hasn't changed any of the factors that have been pushing the price up. OPEC is still working to control supply. Venezuela is still going to shit. Saudis still need the price to go higher to keep the Kingdom from going bankrupt. Anything that happens to Syria or Iran would just be icing on the cake.

Unless something significant happens to seriously impact worldwide demand or US production ramps up much more than expected with price, I'm not concerned.

The drug i take depends on the situation i am in, sometimes i don't do anything for days because i don't need to. It took me awhile to discipline myself on the subject desu.

I have a friend that drinks like a fish, he always wants to go out and have drinks (i used to drink with him alot, like alot alot.) Alot of times ill just have maybe one beer or so and say i gotta go and take off because i know that if i stay and hang out i'll get plastered, i don't like to get plastered anymore. whether i am doing coke, xannax, weed, alcohol or any other drug, i'm not looking to get wasted, i'm just looking to get my buzz going in the direction i want it to, if that makes sense.

I was an opiate addict from age 13-19 so i know what it's like to be out of control

You could always put a put on volatility with a put on qqq to hedge it and close the one thats trending out of the money at open.

Get in on the weed market if you haven't already. Here's some of my port, minus the questionable stuff that's costing me money:

Established, reliable, but maybe not a huge amount of gain potential:
TWMJF

Extremely reliable picks:
ACBFF
APHQF

Medium cost, High Potential:
AMMJ
XXII - Not weed, tobacco producer that's specifically geared to take advantage of the low-nicotine market which Congress is pushing for. Major potential as a stop-smoking aid.

Penny stocks with LOTS of potential:
OWCP - Not a direct seller, has 31 patents pending approval process and is doing research into topical treatments. High recommend, but won't see a pop until they release results of trials. Won't directly be influenced by Legalization. Long term hold.
FRLF
MJNA
GRNH
MCOA

Higher risk, but huge return possibility:
RSII
LVVV
