So very simply take one equation and we reason that if $1,000 turns into $11,700 (with the EOY price prediction of $4) then we have (1000/P)*4=11,700 therefore P=[(11,750/4)/1000]^-1 = .3404. Thus we conclude the coin is $0.34 right now. We then use the other equation to verify our conclusions and it does make sense: If you bought $400 of a $.34 coin right now and the coin went up to $4 then you would have $4705. Coincidence? Definitely not. He and his associates most definitely know basic mathematics so he knows what he did. The only way this would not work is if he purposefully underestimated (he would never overestimate because of his reputation). I want to state for the record that /biz/ has rarely given me good advice and I really don't know why I'm telling you this other than the fact that I enjoy forming coherent arguments.
