>1 billion mocap
>b-b-but only 750 million will be available for buyers

that means that it's impossible for it to even reach $10 coz that would make it larger than Bitcoin by 7 times

So you guys actually believe that a block-chain middle-man will be larger than the crypto industry itself

Even if the full supply of 1 billion Link was released before 10$/Link (it won't), this would put the total market cap at 10 billion dollars.

Market cap of Bitcoin is currently 137 billion and it will be multiple times higher by the time Link reaches 10 dollars per unit.

OK you like market caps let me show you :
ripple market cap, right now is :
$26 399 983 799 USD

chainlink supply is : 350 000 000 LINK

now let's divide ripples marketcap by chainlinks supply :

$26 399 983 799 / 350 000 000 = 75.4$ / LINK

so if you hodl 30000 links, that makes you 2.262 million $

and that's only by taking into consideration ripple marketcap,

now we all know ripple is a piece of shit. chainlink will have atleast double that marketcap.

>> No.8960033

>>8960012
+ we all know that chainlink is an implementation of the GOD PROTOCOL

http://nakamotoinstitute.org/the-god-protocols/

so chainlink will reach without speculation 200- 300$ easy.

add in a little speculation bubble, by normies fomoing into it + the fact that chainlink is blockchain agnostic, so it will suck % of the marketcap of EACH current existing coin, and you have 1000$ EOY FAGGOT

Bitcoin is a digital currency, ie a digital shitcoin.

ChainLink connects blockchains to each other, and to external data. If you don't understand how insanely valuable that is... sorry

>> No.8960061

Most of the coins won't be in direct supply. They'll be locked in nodes, making the Link tokens even more scarce.

You're all fucking morons. Market cap of the whole of Link doesn't work traditionally because of nodes.

>> No.8960080

I may be completely wrong here
But I think LINK’s price is not coupled to any crypto price.
One, it is Blockchain agnostic.
Two, it’s job is to process data. Bitcoin is a store of value. Their functions are different.
Three, ChainLink will tap into markets BitCoin doesn’t have to do with.
For example, insurance companies see ChainLink as very useful and use its smart contract functions. Because it is useful to them, insurance companies pay for it. They don’t mind BTC at all.
In another case, Link taps into derivatives market, that BTC doesn’t have to do with.

My analogy is this. BTC is like a large house. You are saying, how can a sidewalk that leads to the house be bigger than the house? But it’s not a part of the house. The sidewalk is part of a network of roads and highways.

marketcap was used as a valuation tool for companies.
do you see people using marketcap for currrencies? Idts
the value is pretty much just based on faith and "fundamentals" (in the currency example, this would be the GDP, Net exports/imports, and idk what else desu (didn't really delve into forex that much))
