>russia and china move away from usd
>move to cryptocurrencies for trade, probably develop a stable coin for this purpose
>becomes the economic standard for trade in the southeast
>usd collapses in the east
>tfw a borderless currency becomes the new norm for half of the world's population

Tell me why this won't happen

>move to cryptocurrencies for trade

this is where you fucked up. even if they are interested in becoming more closely allied the infrastructural and political costs of moving to crypto are too high. same barriers to entry crypto faces in the US. both china and russia are still highly nationalist, and would likely prefer to keep control over their macro with fiat

No costs are too high to get around economic sanctions. Nice post OP, imo this will happen as well

they could still have their own national stable coins--that's what'll likely more happen

But either way, they can only gain from trading in something outside the dollar

USA, Canada, EU, Australia, NZ should just form a trade alliance and everyone else can fuck right off, will be a bit of a transition but we can just make all the shit we need ourselves like we used to

except you are naming the two countries that don't innovate anything, and are largely the most corrupt in the world

Why is NZ on that list? Like what sort of contribution does New Zealand make to the global economy? (I know the same could be said of the USA, but at least we grow a lot of corn and produce/consume a lot of drugs)

pretty much spot on anon

the rest of the world will shrug their shoulders and china won't have dumb Americans to rip off anymore -- oh well

The US would rather start WW3 than allow the petrodollar to fail
