When I see people complain online about office politics / being paid less than other employees, I get so worried that I'll end up like that, the office autist who doesn't go to the pub or play five a side football wit da ladz so I'll be paid and promoted less.

Anyway you need to stop thinking of this shit as some sort of lottery. Just think of something you can make money doing, formulate the costs, save that money, invest it into said idea, and make it work. It's not going to make you rich, but you'll hopefully be able to make some money, then you can flip that profit into a bigger and better business.
